An aching pressure pushed at the edges of Sam"s skull. When he tried to lift his arm to rub his temple, he was unable to move. After he managed to force open his eyes, he had to blink several times in order to focus. The light in the room was low, but Sam quickly determined that he was confined to a chair. Each of his wrists was taped to a chair arm, and each ankle was taped to the chair in the same manner. He couldn"t remember where he was or how he got there until he heard a familiar voice seep through the web of confusion in his brain. “I"m sorry about the restraints, Sammy,” the voice said. “I did you a solid and didn"t gag you cuz there ain"t no one close to here anyway.
