“You told me to give a shout if I saw anything unusual,” Armstrong said as he and Mulrooney stood on the pier. “Well last night I saw some guy down by Mrs. Connolly"s boat again.” Mulrooney stared at the slip where Lauren"s boat, Seduction, swayed tranquilly in the wake of a passing schooner. “I saw a guy around midnight,” Armstrong continued. “Dark hair and stood about six feet, six-two.
