"Are you okay?" the guy asked me.
I cough and cough to make sure no water is left in my chest nor throat. Instead of answering the guy, I look at Santos and Gomez that don't stop fighting.
"Guys, quit it already!" I said and tried to stand up. The guy gave me his hand to support me to stand up and I thank him for that.
It's the fourth activity for today and this happened to me. We were a team, Clint Gomez, Mike Santos and me earlier. We are riding a boat earlier for the activity but these boys non-stop fighting each other that's why the boat flips. Luckily they have a vest, and unluckily to me I didn't wear any, I took it off because I forgot.
The guy earlier helped us and when we were at the ground the two boys blamed one another for who was at fault. People around here are gone and stop at the next activity.
"Guys I said stop it!" I yelled at them. They stopped but they looked at each other with death glares. I sighed, "Go to our cabin, and change yourself." I said. "Nico, escort them. If they fight again they're dead." I said to Nico, who's one of the boys. Nico nodded and so are they.
Oh please spare those guys.
"You're wet too, Bettina. Come on, let's go to your cabin and change your clothes." he offered me.
Geez, I forgot myself! I'm soaking wet too!
I simply nod at him, and he accompanies me back to my cabin.
What are those guys fighting about? They seem close yet very far, there are boundaries between the two. But if you look closer they seem very close. Mike Santos seems like a quiet guy unlike Clint Gomez. But they have something common between the two and that is playing baseball.
If only someone could help me to help those guys to be friends again. It's not a simple fight anymore, it 's something big. They just don't know how to express it and I'll help them no matter what.
My eyes widened when I realized something. I looked at the guy who's now walking while me is just standing still. I grinned, damn why would I forget. "Hey Mister!" I shout at him again and walk towards him.
I'm trying to think and snapped my fingers in the air to remember him. I snapped my finger again when I knew who he was, "Jackson Smithson, right?" I asked.
Damn, earlier in the program the host introduced him and he is the baseball player! A famous one throughout the country but too bad I'm not familiar with that sport. So I don't know if he is famous.
"Hmm yeah?"
Great! I supposed he knew how to handle it and he's a man so.....
"Okay, can I ask you a question?" I asked. It may feel that I'm feeling close to this guy when I'm not but I take the chances. He nodded. "What would you do if two of your teammates were fighting and you wanted to help them to sort things out, what would you do?"
"Ahhh, there's this game that my Grandpa created well for his family and I will make them play it.' "
"And that is?"
"Throw the ball at me. The focus of that game is showing your true feelings towards a person. My Grandpa was a coach of a baseball and he always uses that game to his player to get to know their feelings. Once the ball is thrown to you, you need to catch it and once you do, you need to answer the question of the person that threw the ball to you and vice versa. The game doesn't help me to help them instead the game will help them by themselves."
Maybe it's all needed, a game. Maybe the game will turn around the table again.
"Can you help me?" I asked him, which made him look at me curiously.

It's almost 6 in the evening, all the students now are sleeping soundly after a campfire thingy. And must I say the Blues High student is very cooperative in that activity. They're now fond of camping, and it feels good when you see your student laughing carelessly.
Back at the school it's hard to see the students smile because they look so serious, if you see them grinning that means they did something wrong, I'm not judging but it's true! There's no day, that I didn't see a student in my office in terms of wrong doings! Those children give me headaches but I guess it's part of my job. And I think I can handle it, there's nothing I can handle now. Now, that I'm so called married.
Luckily, that guy I mean my so called husband hasn't called me yet after earlier embarrassment. I'm so embarrassed earlier when they were not talking about that thing and I felt relieved at the same time. Luckily, there was a moderator that interrupted us that's why I didn't explain myself to them.
Enough of that, I'm here withMr. Baseball player, Mr. Crane and the boys outside of our cabin and playing a game. We sat in the grass, made a circle and made a little fire.
"Hey your turn, Bettina." and Mr. Smithson passes me the ball.
We are playing the game that he talked about earlier. The boys were groaning earlier because they were sleepy but we told them it's a part of the activity to get to know each other.
At first they didn't enjoy it but they still did. They throw questions, must I say dirty questions towards each other but it's fun though watching them knowing one another even more.
"What do you want to know again?" I asked him. He's a mile apart from me.
He smirked. "Are you single?" that made the voice crazy howling and teasing us.
Of cour--- oh right. I'm married, hardly married. I gulped before answering the question. "Yes, I'm single." that made the boys tease me more. Wait, I'm not finished yet. "If that means I'm born single in my mother's womb. Yes I'm single.." The boys laugh and Mr. Smithson looks at me and starts shaking his head.
"But it's not what I meant! I meant----" I cut him off
"My turn to ask!"I said to him. I threw the ball to Clint Gomez that made him catch it. The boys are silent after I throw to him.
"What do you want to know, Ms. Principal?" He asked.
It's now or never.
"What happened to you and Mr. Santos?" He looked at me. It's better to know and I know for the fact the team wants to know too.
"It's a personal matter, Ms. Zuarez. But---" he threw the ball to Mr. Santos. Saw him smirked "Tell them how you and Amber betray me."
Amber? Who's Amber?
"I didn't betray you, Clint. Amber and I didn't do anything, no scratch that I didn't do anything but Amber did." He passed the ball back to Gomez. "How about you? Why didn't you let me explain?" He asked.
The silence is heavy now. I looked at the boys just listening to them, just like Mr. Crane and me but Mr. Smithson is looking at me, okay. I looked again at Mr. Gomez and waited for him to respond.
"What's the use? I saw the both of you kissing infront of me! You asshle his best bestfriend girlfriend but you hooked up with her. Now tell me," he passed it again to Santos. "What does it feel like backstabbing your own best friend?" he yelled at him.
We looked at Santos who's clenching his teeth.
The nerve? Did he cheat on his own best friend's girl? That's so messed up! I mean who would do that? I mean it brought so much more pain than seeing his girl cheating with someone but with the best friend? That's a big mess.
And for pete's sake there's just 16 or 17? And they are fighting over who's kissing who, who's smooching who! The world is fcked up! Just what the hell?! When I was just like their age, I'm like sitting around and finding what is X in my math textbook!
"She kissed me first, dude! I saw what she did, before what you just freaking saw. And I think it's the right time to tell you this. She was two timing you! Remember at Tony's birthday party? That Tony, our friend outside the city did invite you but you didn't come because your girlfriend told you so? Well guess what, I saw Tony kissing your girlfriend in front of the people!" that made us startled. Oh it's that girl's fault? "Before the incident happened she begged me not to tell you because she saw me at that party! But I didn't flinch a bit, I'm serious to tell you. I told her to tell you before I would, at first she agreed but after a second she kissed me! You opened the door at the time she kissed me! Bro I didn't respond, I pushed her! But you're stupid to think that I'm hooking up to your girlfriend well ex, but still!" he stand up and throw the ball to Gomez. "Now that you've heard it, how does it feel being a long time asshle?" he smirked.
The ambiance is here waiting for Gomez to respond. I shake my head to see the boys looking at them like they are live watching tense arguments and they are eating popcorn too.
Gomez stood up. "You're lying. Amber will not do that to me."
Santos smirked. "Do you want to go to the optical clinic and get you some pair glasses?! Dude, wake up! She cheated on you! Don't be so selfish, accept the fact. Sure Amber did love you but it's not strong enough to resist temptation. And if she really did loved you as you thought she was, you wouldn't saw her kissing your best friend while wearing your fcking hoodie.'' We gasped when Gomez made a huge step and punched Santos that caused him to fall.
Well that is pain alright, I mean kissing another boy with your hoodie? That's really fcked up. The boys are now helping Mr. Crane to stop Gomez punching Santos and he did. He walked away from us and so did Santos in different directions. Mr. Crane followed Gomez while the two boys followed Santos.
The boys are laughing, I just rolled my eyes to them. They decide to sleep already and so the others that made them back at the cabin.
So Gomez and Santos need just explanation because of that incident. I hope they will sort things out when they finally talk about that quarrel. It's been a long time that they kept it and now it's out.
"So a girl is all behind the problem of the boys. Well can't blame them, it happens a lot."and he chuckled.
"Yeah. I thought it's big but no." sarcastically said of me.
I thought there's a big reason but hey it's love so considered as big, I guess? Well they can't blame me. I didn't know the work of love! I mean I don't have any so blame the Cupid that hasn't sent an arrow to my supposedly soulmate, if I have.
"They're just kids, Bettina. They're trying new things and that's kinda stuff. Reckless things but afterwards they will learn their lesson." he said
I smiled at him. "Yeah, it's more important than the economy but hey you can't blame them." That made him laugh.
"You're funny. Anyways back to my question." he said and looked at me. "You are single? Please tell me yes." he said that made me chuckle.
Oh I wish I can still say that but a ruthless billionaire is in my picture already.
I just shrugged at him. "I'm out, I'm sleepy. Thanks again for your help, see you when I see you." I said and turned around. I walk towards the cabin.
Heard him saying whatever it is but I just shook my head and did not turn around at him.
I just can't tell him yes because it's creepy to.think.that I'm married to the person that I barely knew and if I say no it's like I'm neglecting him that made me feel guilty. And I don't even know why!

I woke up when a little light hit my face. I looked at my phone and it was seven in the morning. I stand up on the bed and fix myself.
The last day in the bootcamp and after that I'm going home. I washed up and decided to go outside to get some fresh air. Bet the boys are still sleeping, tss they're lazy in the morning.
I walked towards the kitchen and got a bottle of water, I startled when I saw Mr. Crane on the balcony. I walk towards him. Why the hell is he smiling like a weird man?
"Goodmorning?" I tap his shoulder.
"Low down your voice, Ms. Zuarez." he said, almost whispering.
That made me look at him curiously. "Why?"
He smiled and he pointed to the two boys having a conversation under the tree. Who are they? And why are they laughing?
"You did a very good job, Ms. Principal. Explanation is all that it takes but they choose to stay out of their business." I heard Mr. Crane says.
What does he mean?
My eyes widened when I remembered something. It can't be they're just punching each other last night! It can't happen.
"You mean?" As I look at him. He smirked first and nodded.
I smile because of happiness.
