In the hospital, Jay sat at the foot of the bed, hiding his head in his hands, shaking it in disbelief. A doctor approached and patted his shoulder. "It's a tough loss." The doctor spoke. The sound of the toilet flushing Jay to look up as he saw his wife, who now wore a foam neckbrace as well as a blue top and black jeans, emerged. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"The Knicks blew a ten point lead to the Nuggets." Jay replied, glaring at the TV along with the doctor. "Dammit!"
"I hope you were at least this upset when I was technically dead for three minutes. I lost to Cassie by two."
Jay chuckled at Sam. "Let's get you home. Go slow."
"OK. Wait! Cass' gift!" She reminded, running to grab the braclet her daughter brought her. It was a silver snake bracelet that would match Cassie's gold one (Sam always wanted something to match with her daughter). After putting it on, she walked back over to Jay and left the hospital.

*Back in the Mansion*
Trevor was stretched out on the sofa, propping his feet up on the coffee table, sighing, whilst Cassie sat next to him, her legs draped over him. Her head rested on Hetty's lap, who was perched on the arm of the sofa. Isacc stood behind the couch. All four of their faces had bordem written all over as Alberta sang a song that Cassie had been told- had already been performed several times since Alberta's death. As she finished belting the last note, Pete began clapping along with Thor, "Thank you, Alberta. I don't know how man times we've heard that song - "
"487." The Lenape - who Cassie now knew was called Sassapis- announced in a very dull tone.
"But it gets better every time. What did you think, Cassie?"
Cassie glared at Pete for putting her on the spot. "I loved it, but..." She trailed off.
"But what, sweetheart?" Alberta asked.
"Do you know any Adele or Shawn Mendes, Oo, or Lewis Capaldi. Love him."
"Who, who or, who?" Alberta questioned, extremely confused.
"Welcome to my hell."
"Shut up, Trev. You nearly killed my mom."
"I thought you said you were gonna let that go."
"Well, I lied."
"But I said I was sorry!!!!!"
"Landship! Landship!" Thor chanted, causing Cassie and the ghosts to shoot up and rush towards the window.
"It's the livings, man!" Flower pointed out. "They're back!"
"Oh! She's alive!" Hetty cheered.
"Oh, thank God! Now you can stop bullying me, Cass."
"I didn't know she was coming home today! I would've made myself more presentable." Cassie said, referring to her pink Bambi and Thumper pyjamas and her scruffy bun.
"Yeah, whatever." Trevor said absentmindedly to her, focusing all his attention back on Sam. "Is there any scarring? How's the punum?"
"That's my Mom, you perv."

*Outside*
Jay pulled up outside the house. As he and Jay unbuckled, Sam looked over to Jay and questioned, "I thought we were going home?"
"Yeah, I just wanted to swing by the house real quick and show you something. So, while you were sleeping for two weeks - "
"Coma." Sam corrected.
"Coma, I had a contractor come in just to give us an estimate on what needs to be done, and guess what? It's waaayy more than I could have ever imagined. It's like a new foundation, new floors - "
"Jay," Sam interjected. "It's fine. I'm okay with selling the place. I had some time to think, and you were right. I think the whole bed and breakfast idea was crazy."
"Well then, call me crazy. Cos we're doing it." Jay smiled as several plumbing, building, and electrician vans pulled up. "What's going on?" Sam asked, not truly believing that this was real.
"That's the contractor. If we're gonna make a go of this, we're gonna need some help." Jay responded.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! We're staying?!" Sam cheered.
"We're doubling down, baby!" Jay told her, in a weird type of sing song voice. "I maxed out the credit cards, I cashed in the IRA despite the very vocal objections of my father. NEWSFLASH! We're deeply in debt. If this bed and breakfast fails, we're really screwed."
"I don't understand. What happened?"
"Almost losing you made me realise that I don't care where we live because as long as I'm with you, I'm home."
"What about Cass?"
"Look at how much she has changed since we got here. This place is what she needs. Not some shoebox in New York. Was it corny? Did it sound corny? I'm not gonna lie. I practised it."
"It was so corny." Sam said before the couple shared a quick kiss. "Show me the house!" Sam called as she and Jay left the car and went to enter the house.

*Cass+ghosts*
"Aww, they made up." Pete cooed.
"I'm very glad Samantha is okay." Hetty celebrated.
"Me too." Isacc agreed. "Wait. Who are these other people?" The other ghosts looked at the vans parked outside. "It looks like a construction crew." Flower suggested. Hetty's eyes lingered on a certain van, 'O'MALLEY CONSTRUCTION.' She gasped and grabbed ahold of Isacc's ruffle. "O'Malley." She scowled.

*Hallway*
A worker was barking different instructions at the workmen as Sam and Jay carefully wandered through the hallway, staring in amazement as the work progressed. They separated to check out different work going on when someone caught Sam's eye. "Oh, you're dressed kind of nice for a construction worker." Sam complimented Trevor. Trevor glanced over his shoulder in shock as he checked if it was actually him Sam was talking to. 'There's no way!' He thought. He looked back at Sam and pointed at himself to triple check but got no response as Jay came over. "Hey babe, come with me. There's one more thing I wanna show you. Cass will meet us up there, OK? It's a surprise! Hey, hey, hey, easy." Jay instructed as they ascended the stairs. Trevor ran to the room that Cassie and the others were in, burning to tell them this new revelation.

*The ghosts+Cassie*
"Well, that's it then. They're going through this hotel situation." Isacc noted glumly. "We'll be overrun."
"THE CLUTTER!" Thorfinn yelled.
"Okay, yes, the hotel will be a nightmare, but, gosh darnitt, I did miss those crazy kids." Pete chuckled.
"Cassandra?" Hetty questioned. turning to the girl. "Did you know of this?"
"No! Dad told me he had a surprise and I was gonna love it, so I thought it was a puppy!" Cassie cried. "The deception!" She yelled, angrily crossing her arms.
"She talked to me! She talked to me!" Trevor exclaimed, running into the room. "She talked to me! SHE TALKED TO ME! And I think she kind of hit on me. I'm not entirely sure, but there was definitely a spark."
"No, there weren't." Cassie said.
"Whatever. But SHE TALKED TO ME!!" Trevor yelled, raising his arms up in celebration and a consequence, raised his shirt, and it was no longer covering his 'region'. Cassie slapped her hands onto her eyes to protect herself from the sight.
"Good God!" Isacc exclaimed in slight disgust while the others all groaned and turned away.
"Lower your hands." Pete demanded whilst still in discomfort.
"What, why?" Trevor asked, still unaware of what he was accidentally showing.
"IT'S SHOWING TREVOR!!!! HANDS DOWN NOW!!!!!" Cassie yelled, hands still covering her eyes from the sight. Trevor looked down and quickly placed his hands down, sorting out his short so it covered him again. Embarrassment spread through him as he looked down at his feet and mumbled, "Sorry, Cassie."
"It's fine, warn a girl next time." She said, slowly lowering her hands. "Let's go." And so, she and the ghosts left to see if Trevor's news was true.

*Upstairs*
Jay had led Sam to one of the guest rooms, covering her eyes with his hands. "And Badow!" He exclaimed, taking his hands off of Sam's eyes. Sam smiled in shock and delight as she saw that the room was painted in the Canary Yellow she and her family were talking about just over two weeks ago. The bed was freshly made as well with lamps on each bedside table. A few books on the fireplace. Although it wasn't much, it was a grand gesture for Sam. "Uh huh. What is that?" Jay asked rhetorically as Sam looked around speechless. "That is the Canary Yellow you wanted."
"You painted the room!
"I know. You know I wasn't sure about it at first, but it's growing on me." As Jay was taling, Hetty phased through the door, staring intently at Sam. Sam's face fell in shock and fear as she watched Hetty. Cassie soon followed, obviously opening the door before closing it behind her again, watching her Mom cautiously. "What the hell?" Sam questioned.
"Yeah, yeah, you're right." Isacc then walked through another closed door. "It's a lot of yellow. Oh, you know what we could do? Oh hey Cass!" He greeted as she walked into view before continuing. "We could put up a muted accent wall." In walked, Sassapis, Pete, and Trevor through the wall, each smiling or looking curious.
"This can't be real!" Sam denied, looking at the trio who just entered. Alberta, Flower, and Thor soon walked in as Jay spoke again. "Okay, you're not loving it. It's no big deal."
"Mom, it is real. I know it is. I have for 9 years." Cassie whispered in her Mom's ear, loud enough so only she could hear.
"Y'know. It's just paint." Jay continued, unaware of what was unfolding.
"OH MY GOD!" Sam cried.
"What are you looking at?" Jay asked, completely lost now.
"Mom, I know this is weird, but trust me, it's real. I've only met these eight so there could be more, I don't know, but don't freak out."
"Cassie, you are not doing that 'ghost' thing again, are you?"
"Shut up, Dad!"
"I think you're right." Pete spoke. " She can see us!"
"Uh huh." Trevor smirked.
"Who are you?!" Sam demanded, as her daughter stepped next to her and placed a gentle hand on Sam's shoulder.
"Uh hi, I'm Jay. I'm your husband. Cassie's Dad. Do you need to lie down?" Jay asked, concerned.
"I can explain." Isacc said. "We are ghosts Those poor spirits who dwell on, compelled for reasons unknown to - " He was cut off as Sam and Cassie saw the greaser's body walk in, causing the pair to scream. One out of fright of this new lore, the other also out of fright of not ever seeing this ghost somehow in two weeks.
"Oh yeah! Forgot to tell Cassie about Crash." Trevor remembered, earning glares from the others.
