'Audrey, come in' Evans took her hands and led her to the living room. Hafeezah faked a cough and Evans gave her the I'll explain everything look

'Hafeezah, I didn't know you and Evans hung out together' she sneered her voice evident with distaste.

'Of course we do, we are friends afterall' Hafeezah strode to Evans side who was seated on a couch opposite Audrey. 'What is the deal with Audrey, Evans'

'Friends, very good friends actually' Audrey cut him short

'What!' Evans stood up angrily

'What is going on here' Hafeezah stood up confused. Evans shot Audrey an icy glare

'Evans let's go up to your room and talk' Audrey grabbed Evans hand but he yanked it back.

'Please let's talk' she pleaded

'Evans, just go up with her and resolve whatever misunderstanding you have'

Evans banged the door of his room hard which made Audrey flinch. She hugged his back and tightened her hand at his front but he unclasped her hands.

'Start talking' he demanded angrily

'I just don't really like Hafeezah and I don't want anyone finding out yet about our relationship'

'But why Audrey, I really like you and I don't want to hide it' He turned to her and held her face 'please baby'

'Not yet Evans, but very soon' she stood on the tip of her toes and kissed his lips lightly 'what is Hafeezah doing here'

'Nothing to stress about baby, we are just good friends' he circled her waist and nipped her lower lips gently.

'I'm not comfortable with her being here, in my man's house'

'I like the sound of that- your man' He continued kissing her and she circled her arms round his neck to deepen the kiss.

'Evs, Audrey' Hafeezah knocked

'In a minute feez' He replied in a husky voice

'Evs, feez, you guys are now on nick name basis' Audrey moved out of Evans arms but he pulled her back in

'There is nothing wrong with nicknames love, we are just friends and she is fun to be with'

'And I'm not fun to be with, is that what you are saying?' her eyes narrowed into slits but Evans kissed her to avoid her question. Girls and their suspicion. Hafeezah was just that type of girl you could tell anything to, the kind who would always be there when you messed up.

'I'm waiting' Hafeezah knocked again

'Best you get to your fun to be with friend'

'Are you still mad baby'

'No, just teasing'

Evans gave her one last peck on the lips before he opened the door

'I trust you guys are good now' Hafeezah smiled at Audrey

'Yes we are, let me see you to the door Audrey' Evans replied on her behalf

'Bye Hafeezah' Audrey said as she descended the stairs with Evans and Hafeezah muttered a bye.

'Sssssooo' she crossed her leg while sitting on the couch previously occupied by Evans

'Audrey is my girlfriend' Evans said immediately without beating round the bush

'I figured that out already when you were angry, but I'm disappointed' Evans gave her a confusing look, wasn't he supposed to have a girl or what was she trying to say

'I asked you the last time if anyone caught your fancy but you said no one'

'I'm sorry feez' he apologized sincerely 'but I was going to tell you about it today'

'Worry not, I'm most forgiving, i thought you ordered pizza'

'Yeah, and we still have a lot to talk about' he said while walking to the kitchen, he took out aplate and placed it on the kitchen island. He placed the pizza on the plate and trashed the boxes.

'Yunno she wants to keep us a secret' he took out the can of drinks while Hafeezah settled on one of the stools.

'Why' she took a slice and bit into it without waiting for Evans

'She says she needs "time" ' he airqouted time

'I understand her, don't rush her, she's probably wondering you might leave her after your exchange period is over' she said with her mouth full

'Why would I do that, besides if we are going strong by the time my program is up I might just stay back' he bit into a slice too and chewed fast

'Well, maybe if she sees other girls vying for your attention she might have a rethink'

'I hope so feez' Evans took a swig out of his drink

'You wouldn't want any other guy kissing her lips' she winked at him

'Feezah!' He narrowed his eyes at her 'you were eavesdropping'

'You guys were taking too long, so I came up to check what was happening till I heard the "muah, muah" sound' she puckered her lips in the air mimicking a kiss

'I need to get you a boyfriend' he stated

'Yes papa' she held her ear with her left hand while still holding a slice of pizza

Evans laughed and turned to look at the almost empty plate, he raised his eyes only to collide with Feezah's eyes. They both eyed the last slice till she blew a raspberry on it.

'Oh my God Feez, childish much' He stood while laughing hard

'I won you sore loser' she also laughed while munching on her prize. Evans cleared the plate and trashed the cans. He washed his hands by the sink while she joined him to do the same.

'Let's get started with the tutorial' Evans tapped her shoulders.

Evans took multiple examples under polynomial equations till she got it right, she kept chewing on her pen's cover and nodding while he was at it. Evans gave her an exercise which she was unable to solve.

'I'm trying my best feez, pay attention and stop chewing on that pen' he dragged the pen from her when she didn't stop.

'Camilla would have explained better if she was teaching me, you suck at teaching' she hadn't expect his mood to change so suddenly.

'Well am I wasting my time' he stood up angrily.

'Evans, what is wrong with you, i was just pulling your legs' she stood up too

'Sorry Feez, I'm just mad at her'

'Why, because she called you a psycho'

'You know about that?' he widened his eyes

'Yeah duh, she said you insinuated that she listened to gossips'

'Was that all she said?' he smirked remembering he had also said she stared at random people on her job

'Yes, now sit let's continue where we left off'
