•••• Eli •••• I’m awoken by the gentle movement in my arms, signaling that my girls are awake. I slept past midnight, anxious that they might miss their mother and be difficult during the night, but thankfully, it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Their bottles are empty, so I quickly get up to fix them some milk while Orpheus remains with them on the bed. They adore Orpheus; he reminds them of a big, fluffy bear, and they enjoy brushing his fur. He provides a good distraction for them. With the bottles ready, I hand them over to the girls, and just then, the pilot announces our landing.
