I beyond believed that in a world of chaos, I’ve found serenity. It was challenging not to think about how badly I wanted to share my pure happiness with my parents or any friend I had but I had no one. I haven’t spoken to my mother in years. My dad won’t share any form of happiness with me. The people who I once called my friends have replaced me with new friends. Coach Mason was the closest thing I had to a father. He would be thrilled with the news but it won’t be the same as having a blood relative share their excitement with me.
