I could hear the noisy sounds around me and a strong stench.
Slowly, I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. My eyes felt sore.
As my eyes adjusted to the dimly lit walls, I realized this seemed to be a stone cave.
I looked around and was surprised to see Tracy outside of the Graystar Pack.
She had been expelled from the Pack by the Alpha and became a rogue. I hadn't heard from her in a long time, but I never expected her to be hiding near the Pack!
She had been watching me in secret all along.
This realization sent a chill through me.
The dark, damp cave was a refuge for rogues. A bonfire burned inside, and the smell of rotting meat assaulted my nostrils.
