“That was a real bonehead move you made.” Eureka spoke to her baby brother from the edge of the bed. He was lying on his back with his arms folded across his chest.
“I did what I had to do for the good of the team,” Anton reasoned. “Besides, I laid a lot of them boys out. I almost took out cha boy Honcho too, but he caught wind of me coming.”
“You and your stubborn, arrogant ass!” Eureka fumed. “You could have gotten yourself killed and then what, huh?” She wiped the tears that brewed and ran from the corners of her eyes.
