I got a call from the hospital saying my disappointment that my daughter was in the hospital because she got hurt, which is insane, so I got Dan and packed our bags and got on a plane to New York.
Dan: Easter, why do we need to go to New York? It’s not like she is really hurt. You know she always lies, so why go?
He was right about that, so why was I going? It’s not like it actually happened. She tried to put Dan in prison.
Easter: I don’t know, but I need to have a stern talk with her because pretending to be in the hospital, she has gone too far.
We landed in New York and grabbed the first taxi that was seen and headed to the hospital and when I got there, everybody seemed very hostile towards us, but I went to the desk and asked where Sandra was and followed her instructions to the waiting room and saw a bunch of people.
Dan: I know these people. They are the most annoying but powerful, and they can get rid of you in one sweep, so don’t make them mad.
I walked over to them and as soon as I did, they turned and looked at me and had a very mad expression on their faces, but I just asked where the little brat was, and I got a big slap across the face.
Easter: What was that for? I was just asking where the little brat was, Jazz was. It’s not the end of the world; I just want to know where she is.
Dan: I ought to get my father after you for that, and I don’t care about you being a very powerful family.
Mandy: You got slammed because you deserve it and Sandra is no brat, and you are a horrible excuse for a mother. You don’t deserve to see her.
Easter: I am her mother, so I have every right to see her, so you either let me see her or I will call the police and take you to court to hold my daughter accountable for not letting me in to see her.
With that, she moved aside and let me go down the hall to her room and, as I entered, there were two little boys and a tall handsome man in a chair next to her bed.
Easter: Sandra Marla Johnson, you are in big trouble and get the funk out of bed because I know that you are not hurt.
Troy: You can’t talk to her like that, and she can’t get out of bed because she just had something done to her.
I stood there thinking about how this little boy could say that to me, so I slapped him for talking back to me, and it made me glad that he was in tears and learned his lesson about talking back to adults, but a scream came from behind me.
Mandy: Troy baby, what happened? Who did this until you talked to me? It’s OK, Troy and Drew came back out with me.
Drew: Why did you slap my brother when he was just trying to tell you that, Mrs? Sandra was hurt. You are mean.
After the boy said to his mother, he took them both out of the room and left, holding them both and calming them down.
Sandra: He did nothing to you except tell you that I’m actually hurt and can’t get up from bed and that little boy you just slapped is the son of one of the best lawyers in New York.
David: How dare you hit my sister's son, and how dare you try to make Sandra get out of bed when she has just had a piece of pipe taken out of her?
After David said that, my mother got so mad and walked over to my bed and pulled me by the arm out of the bed, out the door and into the hallway where everyone could see me.
Sandra: Mom, stop it. I really am hurt. Can’t you see that I’m bleeding or are you too blinded by rage to see it?
Easter: That is fake blood, so stop being dramatic and get up, or I will drag you all the way out of here. Do you hear me?
She started dragging me again, and then I was grabbed out of her grip by David and I just looked at him in surprise, but I’m glad he did, but before I could say anything else, I passed out.
I was so mad that Sandra’s mom would even dare to slap a child, but what got me more mad was when she came over dragging Sandra out of the bed and into the hallway, and I’m guessing this was Dan, the judge's son, but Sandra was bleeding so badly, so I grabbed her from her mom as soon I did that she passed out from all the bleeding.
David: How could you be such a bad mother if your child is hurt and all you can do is drag her into a hallway and treat her like trash? You are just a horrible person.
Anne: What’s going on here, and why is my grandson saying he got slapped, and why is Sandra passing out?
Easter: I’m taking my daughter home and I don’t care what is wrong with her, so give her to Dan, and we will be leaving now.
Trevor: Yeah, that’s not happening. She will be staying with us until she can get back on her feet and my son is the one you should be thanking for keeping her alive.
Easter: I couldn't care less if she was alive or not, and she tried to put Dan in prison, so you keep her. She’s your problem now, but let me tell you this isn’t the last you see us.
Mandy: Of course, it won’t be the last time you see us, because I’m going to sue you for hitting my son and for harming Sandra.
As all this was going on, I was just watching as they were arguing about what had happened and not worried about Sandra, so all I could do was take her back to the room and call the doctor.
Doc: What happened? She shouldn’t be out of bed now. I had to put new stitches in and give her more blood because she lost a lot of it.
David: Her mom came and dragged her out of bed and slapped my little nephew, so I would be grateful if you would check him out after you are done with her and my arm.
Doc: Will do and don’t let her mom get back in the room or anyone who will have her get hurt OK, so keep her safe, maybe move her to a more private place.
All I could do was be worried about her and my nephew, but I will move her to a more private place and keep her safe no matter what.
Dan: I saw what my influence on her mom was, and I was proud that she believed everything I said, but I had a few obstacles in my way and one was David Tatura. I always get what I want, no matter the consequences.
Dan: Easter let’s go, so I can talk to my dad and see if this will hold up in court or not, and I know that my dad will say it won’t.
With that, we left and got a taxi back to the hotel and got some sleep.
