Collapsed in

After David apologized for cursing at Sandra, they were both walking down the stairs when snow started coming down on them, and both David and Sandra started to run, but Sandra was in heels and having a hard time, so David picked her up and opened the first door he could find and as soon as they got in, it stopped coming after them. Sandra: So this is what our last days are going to be like: running in the snow to survive. What else could go wrong besides me being afraid of my own hometown? Yeah, I am giving up. I’m afraid of my own hometown. While Sandra was having a meltdown, David was sitting there quietly and listening to it, but why was Sandra afraid of her own hometown? It’s not like anything bad can happen, there, right? David:I don’t care about those challenges anymore. I just want to get out of here and to argue with my sister again. If that ever happens, we could slowly make our way down to the basement of the building. When David started talking, Sandra stopped and sat down and was quiet, but David didn’t want to die this way. He just wanted to be home now with my family, but that won’t happen now. While Mandy was sitting in the living room, Mandy was watching the news when it said that the billionaire, David Tatura, CEO of Tatura investment company, was collapsing. She stood up and tried to call his office phone but no one was answering, which made Mandy even more scared of him and his safety, but she also remembered that his secretary, Sandra, was staying behind for work during Christmas. Mandy:Dedrick, get yours, but here now, please, it’s important and a very serious hurry! Dedrick:What happened to that? What was so important for me to come in here, and why are you crying? What’s wrong?” Mandy: David’s office building is collapsing and he and his secretary are inside it. That’s what’s so important and why I’m crying, so hurry up and get the boys dressed so they can go to their grandparents' house, and we can go see how bad it is. I’m going to try to get a hold of her family now! Dedrick:Yes mama, right away mama. Mandy:Stop being smart and go! Dedrick:right away. As he left, Mandy turned around and looked back at the TV to see it collapsing more and more. As time went by, Mandy was even more scared of David and Sandra's safety, whom Mandy believed was her name. Easter: Yes, how can I help you? Mandy: Is this the Sandra Johnson family? Easter:Yes, this is it, and why are you calling me about my disappointment with a daughter? If she accused another person of assaulting her because, if she did, you wouldn't believe her? When Sandra's mom called her a disappointment, Mandy wanted to cuss her out for calling her own daughter a disappointment, which was just wrong, and what did she mean by accusing someone of assaulting her again? But there are more important matters at hand. Mandy: Uh no, she is trapped in a collapsing building and I thought you should know, and you should come to New York to be there when they get her out, since you are her family. Ester:Why should I believe that when she is telling big lies about stuff that didn’t happen? I don’t believe you and tell her to stop trying to pull tricks on me and tell her she didn’t get sexually assaulted by someone. It’s just in her head goodbye. Mandy had never heard a more horrible thing like that, a mother not believing her own child and abandoning them while they might die in a collapsed building. Who does that and doesn't believe her own child shouldn't be sexually assaulted? That’s just more horrible than ever. Mandy doesn’t blame Sandra for not going back. Dedrick:Why do you look like you are about to cry? Did something happen on the phone when you were talking to her mother? Mandy: She has to be the worst mother in the world to not believe in your own child. Being sexually assaulted and trapped in a collapsed building has to be the most horrible thing to go through. Dedrick: Let’s focus on getting them out, and then we can deal with this whole situation and help her out. Let’s hope they are both safe. I was silently writing a prayer to ask God to help my brother and Sandra to get out safely and unharmed. Troy, Drew:Mommy, do we get to see Uncle David? Mandy:You will get to see him soon, I hope.
