🎬 Episode 6 – The Man They Could Not Touch

985 Words
The door opened slowly. The tall man in the dark coat stepped inside the room like he owned the place. The air became cold immediately. Elena moved behind Alexander without thinking. Her fingers grabbed his shirt from the back. Her voice shaking. “Don’t look into his eyes…” Alexander didn’t move. He stood in front of her, calm, like nothing was happening. The man in the coat looked at him carefully. Not like a normal person. Like he was trying to see through him. “You are the human.” Alexander smirked. “I guess so.” The man stepped closer. “You don’t understand what you are involved in.” Alexander crossed his arms. “And you don’t understand whose room you just entered.” Elena whispered behind him, “Alexander please… this is not a joke…” The man’s eyes glowed faintly again. He looked at Elena. “You broke the rule.” She lowered her head slightly. “I know.” “You were warned.” “I know.” “You touched him.” Silence. She didn’t answer. The man’s voice became darker. “You stayed the night with him.” Alexander’s eyes changed. His expression became serious. “That’s enough.” The man turned to him slowly. “You should not speak.” Alexander stepped forward. “You should not enter my room.” The air felt heavy again. The light above them flickered. Elena grabbed Alexander’s arm. “Stop… both of you…” The man looked at Alexander like he was studying something strange. “You don’t feel fear.” Alexander smiled slightly. “I stopped feeling fear a long time ago.” “You don’t know who I am.” “And you don’t know who I am either.” Silence. For the first time, the man hesitated. Elena noticed. Her eyes widened a little. He stepped closer to Alexander. Very close. Too close. Then he raised his hand slowly toward Alexander’s chest. Elena shouted, “NO!” But before his hand touched him— The light in the room exploded. Darkness. Then back again. The man stepped back suddenly like he hit something invisible. His face changed. Confused. Impossible. He looked at his hand. Then at Alexander. “You…” Alexander didn’t move. His voice low. “You done?” The man stared at him like he couldn’t understand what just happened. Elena whispered, “It blocked him…” Alexander looked back at her. “What blocked him?” She looked at him like she was seeing him for the first time. “You…” The man spoke again, slower now. “You are protected.” Alexander frowned. “Protected by what?” The man’s eyes narrowed. “This is not possible…” Elena stepped forward carefully. “Leave.” He looked at her. “You know the law.” “I know.” “You know the punishment.” Her voice shook but she didn’t look away. “I know.” He looked at Alexander again. Long. Suspicious. Then he said quietly, “This human… is not normal.” Alexander laughed softly. “You’re late to that discovery.” The man ignored him. He looked at Elena one last time. “You will come back.” She didn’t answer. “You cannot stay with him.” Silence. “You belong to us.” Elena whispered, “I belong to myself.” The man’s eyes flashed. Anger. Real anger. “You forget who gave you your power.” She looked straight at him. “No… I remember who tried to control it.” The room became colder. For a second, it looked like the man wanted to attack. But he stopped. He looked at Alexander again. Long. Careful. Like he was trying to solve a puzzle. Then he spoke quietly, “We will watch you.” Alexander shrugged. “Get in line.” The man turned and walked toward the door. Before leaving, he stopped. Without looking back, he said, “If she chooses you… the war will start.” The door closed. Silence filled the room. The light stopped flickering. The air felt normal again. Elena’s legs became weak. She sat on the bed suddenly. Breathing fast. Alexander turned to her. “You okay?” She looked at him like she couldn’t believe he was real. “He couldn’t touch you…” “So?” “He should have been able to.” He sat beside her. “Then maybe I’m special.” She shook her head slowly. “No… this is something else…” He smiled. “You keep saying that.” She grabbed his hand suddenly. Her eyes serious. “You don’t understand… nobody can block him… nobody.” He looked into her eyes. “Then explain it.” She whispered, “There are only two things that can stop someone like him.” “What?” She swallowed slowly. “Ancient magic…” He raised an eyebrow. “And the second?” She stared at him. Long. Like she was afraid to say it. “Someone… more powerful than him.” Silence. Alexander laughed quietly. “You think I’m a wizard now?” She didn’t laugh. “I think… you are hiding more than money.” He looked at her carefully. For the first time… He didn’t answer. She whispered, “Who are you really… Alexander?” He leaned back slightly. His eyes calm. “My turn to say it.” “Say what?” “You wouldn’t believe the answer.” She stared at him. The same words she told him before. She whispered, “Try me.” He smiled slowly. “You’re not the only one living a secret life.” Her heart started beating faster. Outside the window, the wind started again. Stronger than before. Somewhere far away… Someone else was watching. And this time… They were watching Alexander.
