Franklin checked her heartbeat, she's not breathing.
“No, no, no, Thalia opened your eyes.” he muttered, his heart beating as panic gripped him. The fear of losing her gnawed so fiercely at his insides he thought it might tear him apart.
And the car moved itself toward the cliff. Franklin staggered back with her in his arms, holding her tightly against his chest. He was still weak but tightened his hold on her trembling body, he didn't expect to meet Thalia, he never thought about it.
He laid her on the ground, shaking her body, his vision blurring, probably because of the injection he was given before he left the hospital.
“Lia...wake up.” He shook her body for the time he said that. He tapped her cheeks but she didn't respond and she wasn't breathing.
