The History of Our Ancestors VOL. I

Eons ago a deity named Necalli was born no one knows who created him, what he is, what his purpose was, why he created us the Astralights, or this world we know as Nebula, all we know is that he made us and this world where we reside.

At first there was nothing but darkness no life no sound nothing except darkness. So, he created stars to bring light to the never-ending oblivion. The stars were made from crystal and shone brightly against the ebony canvas with their pure light. He then added a variety of colours and mixed them with the stars to form galaxies which some believe to have other forms of life he created after creating us.

After the darkness was lit balance was born and to keep the balance Necalli created the sun and the moon that would one day make night and day for our world, they would waltz around the vast space and would cross paths once every hundred years causing a spectacular eclipse that caused the stars and galaxies to glow even brighter for one day.  

He made the sun from topaz and filled its core with fire so that it could bring light and warmth followed by the moon, the moon was made from aquamarine with its core filled with ice to cool the realm from the sun’s warmth, after sun and moon were created, he felt something was missing, something was needed between the sun and moon while as they danced in the small realm. And so, he began creating Nebula.

Thy say to begin making Nebula Necalli took a piece of his beating heart and placed it between the sun and moon, heat from the sun cause the beating heart piece to become a fiery core that grew too hot and started shooting fireballs into the empty space. But whenever the moon grew closer to the now fiery core the cool aura from the moon caused the excess heat to form a rocky layer shielding the core from too much heat or too much cold. Once the layer had fully formed a protective coat the cores heat started melting the rock making magma that erupted onto the surface, once covered the moon cooled the magma making a second layer of rock. This process continued until the planet grew to become 69,911 km in size, the first step was completed.

Once the layers were made Necallis heart piece began to beat rapidly causing the world to shake and crack as it pushed volcanoes out of the ground spewing boiling lava, the earthquakes tore up the land, parts crumbled forming gaping canyons other parts were pushed high into the sky causing lava to spill over the edges creating lava waterfalls. The earthquakes and volcanoes sculpted the land to its rightful shape, once Necalli was satisfied with the way it looked the quakes and spewing volcanoes raging calmed to a stop. The smoky clouds disbursed hundreds of years later allowing the moon to cool the scolding planet.

Once the planet had cooled down enough the moon used its icy core to create layers of ice to cover the planet’s surface which took two hundred years to complete. Then the sun used its fiery core to melt the ice creating water that could seep into the fertile ground.

After the land was watered and the ice had completely melted night and day had begun on the world, throughout the day the suns warmth evaporated the water from the ground causing the surface to become steamy while the rays fed life into the ground feeding the soil with nutrients. At night, the moon used its light to slowly turn the steam into small ice shards and mix it into the soil ready for the sun to melt them and start the process all over again.

When the planet was steamed enough the sun and moon crossed paths causing an eclipse that made Necallis heart piece to pulsate the entire time. Once the eclipse was over the heart stopped and when the sun rose the next day life had begun to form.
