ZERA went out of the room and closed the door. The dark corridor outside was lit by diamond-shaped crystals that were serving as torches. They were glowing in blue. Kin’s room also had those diamond torches in the side of his bed and in the corners of his room. Though, the only torch that was lit at the time was the one on his bedside.
She leaned her back against the door weakly. She shut her eyes. She was hearing the loud thumping of her heart clearly in this quiet place.
How long was he awake and staring at her? Zera’s avatar face was beautiful so there was nothing to be conscious about. But only knowing that Kin was staring at her all those time, was enough for her heart and mind to run haywire.
