ZELPHIRA Meneses opened her eyes. The white walls and ceiling in her private hospital room did not cheer her mood. It had been three days since she was confined in this hospital. Her body and her face still ached. She broke her right arm, which she used for protecting her head, and two of her ribs from that fall—that the school stated as an accident.
