5- Going Home

Alan’s POV

Our mate is just the most breath-taking, captivating, and beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. I can’t get enough of her. I was always a bit uncertain of how much love my parents showed each other, but I can now feel a mate bond myself, it’s intense and searing to the deepest parts of your soul.

“You wouldn’t believe me if I said that I’m usually very shy, and barely ever talk to strangers. It took Lily about three months to get me to say hello to her, and close to a year to become good friends. Then you two come along, and the things I’ve said, I’m so embarrassed.” Sam covered her face with her hands, to hide her red cheeks.

“Oh, sunshine, you don’t have to be embarrassed at all, we have truly loved meeting you, and getting to see you blush was a treat.” Said Ali.

“Princess, Ali’s right, that blush is so pretty, it makes me wonder the things I could say or do to see it again.” I threw a wink her way when she peered into my eyes from behind her open fingers.

The three of us started laughing at that and Sam visibly relaxed. It was clear as day that my sister and I liked her, and she was feeling things back. Thank you, Moon Goddess, this drop-dead-gorgeous human wasn’t resisting the mate's pull like plenty of others. The horror stories I’d heard from some pack members about their mates barely feeling the pull had given me dread. But not our princess, she felt it and wanted more.

“Okay, I think it’s time I went home now, before my car turns into a pumpkin.” She said with a little smile to Aliane, who had a full-blown smile on her face.

“Then I’m guessing I’ll get to keep your shoe, just to prove you’re real and to go looking for you afterwards.” I mentioned while holding up her discarded left shoe.

We started laughing even more, but my sister took the shoe from my hand and placed it on her foot. “Not tonight, Prince Charming, she needs her shoe to not hurt her foot in the concrete with anything like maybe glass.”

“Good thinking, sis.” I said, while Sam looked at both of us.

“I, I, it’s just, I can’t believe myself, you’re both, hmm, how can I word this, I’ve never met anyone like you two.” Came from a flustered Sam.

“And we’re very happy about that. Now, Princess, let us take you to your carriage.”

Each of us held her hand and helped her get down from the car’s trunk. Gently settling her to the floor to make sure she didn’t add too much weight too fast to her ankle. She was careful, but slowly moved both feet and looked at us with an impressed expression; nothing was hurting.

With glances, smiles, looks, and never letting go of our hands, the three of us made it to her car, a small white sedan.

“It really was a pleasure meeting you, sunshine. Now, can I ask a little favor from you?” Said Ali once Sam sat in the driver's seat and lowered her window to talk to us.

“Yes, of course.” Came the breathy response from Sam.

“We need you to text us both once you get home and are safely tucked in bed. We wouldn’t be able to rest without knowing you’re safe.” I said without giving my sister a chance, but she just nodded, that was exactly what was in her mind.

“Oh, uhm, sure, I can do that. I just thought you'd ask something else.” Sam seemed confused, she was in between liking that we cared about her safety and being mad that we didn’t press her harder to stay with us.

“Sunshine, we don’t want to make you uncomfortable. We promise not to leave you hanging, and it’ll get to the point when you’ll need time away from us; but, right now, you need time to think.” My smooth sister took her hand and kissed it while looking straight into her eyes. Our mate’s blush was so sexy at that moment.

“Ali is right, we don’t want to come in too strong, or you might want some distance, and that would break us, but soon, we promise to be there for you at every second.” I kissed the inside of her wrist, and I swear nothing ever had felt so amazing.

Sam’s eyes were half lidded, and we smelt her scent and arousal and groaned.

“You should go, Sam, before these two decide you’re not leaving their side and take you with them.” Dany’s voice brought all three of us out of the trance.

Our mate was too embarrassed to even talk, she just nodded and started away. Neither my twin nor myself could take our eyes away from her car.

“Alphas, I have a warrior discreetly following her, just to make sure she gets home safe. Would you like to go back inside the club or head back home?” Ray interrupted, which was the first time he had even spoken since we started heading out of the club in search of our mate.

“Let’s go home, I don’t think we care about drinking or dancing tonight anymore.” Replied my twin to her Beta.

“The car is ready, Alphas, and congratulations on finding your mate, she’s gorgeous.” Dany said in a bubbly voice with a face-splitting smile.

Both Ali and I growled at Dany. It was the first time ever either one of us had growled at her, but I guess she was ready for it, because she kept smiling and just lifted her hands in a surrender motion.

“It’s okay, I didn’t mean it disrespectfully, just point it out. Plus, I don’t think I’m into girls.” Was Dany’s reply to our growl.

“Well, I didn’t think so either, but here I am, ready to mark her.” Ali pointed out once she noticed the tease in Dany’s voice.

My eyes opened up and I looked at my sister. “I didn’t even think about you and her, it just felt natural. How do you feel?” I asked my twin.

“It felt natural for me too. Who cares if we’re both females, I’m pretty sure I can still make her feel great without a d**k, and there’s also toys.” Was Ali’s nonchalant reply, like she hadn’t just skipped the whole getting to know her phase and jumped straight to bed.

“Hahahaha, of course, my never-even-thought-of s*x-before-now sister just sent her head to the gutter, without thinking of making our mate fall for us first.” I was just laughing while we got into the SUV and Ray started driving.

“Yeah, and all you are thinking is about holding hands and counting clouds, because Sam’s eyes didn’t show lust when you so secretly had to re-adjust your hard-on.” Ali scoffed and gave me a grin.

“Fine, you got me there, but she’s just so f*cking sexy, and gentle, and her voice, I can’t wait to hear her moan!” It had been less than five minutes and I was starting to miss her. Goddess!

“Exactly! I miss her so much already. And did you realize how she was feeling the mate pull as well? She’s just perfect.” My twin almost moaned.

“Alphas, your mate is home already. She lives in an isolated home on the outskirts of town, by herself, apparently.” Dany told us, reading the text message from Ray’s phone, so that he could keep driving.

“Alone, so young, that’s not common. Make sure you guys do a full background on her and report back everything.” I commanded and both our Beta’s immediately replied “Yes, Alpha.”

That got me smack in the back of the head from Ali. “They would have done it without the command, you dumb-dumb.” She was glaring at me, we like to use our command voice as little as possible, especially with our amazing Betas.

“You’re right, sorry guys, I’m just riled up and didn’t even notice.” I said apologetically.

“It’s alright Alpha, it’s not every day that you meet your mate.” Smiled Dany.

“No need for apologies, we understand.” Added Ray.

“Oh, before I forget, thank you both for helping out tonight. Like, we didn’t even remember to ask for her name until Dany did. And if you hadn’t asked the warrior to bring the car, Ray, we wouldn’t have been able to sit Sam anywhere. You won the Best Betas’ Award!” Said Ali and made us all laugh.
