I wouldn’t say there’s no competition in the faire; we all root for one another to be successful, as we’ll all benefit from it. However, if you have two or three booths all selling the same thing, say, armor or kids’ foam swords, then, yes, we do compete. On the performance stages, we aren’t competing…er, that’s not strictly true. There are bragging rights and favorites and being asked to come back, of course. And people are people; we like some and don’t like others quite that much.
