The Heart of Slavernake

Claire continued to explore the dark and scary forest. Little did she know that she already reached the most dangerous part of her journey, the heart of Slavernake. It is the prohibited area of the jungle. Mrs. Harrington strictly said to not enter that area at all cost.

"Where am I?" Claire whispered to herself as she worriedly take one step after another and examined the dark and mysterious surroundings. There are large and creepy trees all around. The sky can't almost be seen because of the thick leaves of trees above, thus it looks so dark even though it's still daytime. Claire suddenly felt the chills down her spine because it seemed that someone or something is staring at her. 

Claire didn't notice some humps on the ground so she suddenly fell and lost her balance. 

"Aww." she touched her butt. Something hard hit her. Suddenly, she heard a soft growl of an animal. She started to tremble. 

"W-what's that..?"

The soft growl suddenly turned louder and louder. She was shocked when she saw a large pair of eyes beside her.

"Aaaaah!" she screamed because of fear. It was a huge red dragon. She immediately stood to her feet and ran for her life."RROOOOAARR!" The dragon was awaken and saw a human body running. It started chasing her.

"Aaaaaaah!" Claire continued to scream as the deadly creature chased her like a predator aiming at its prey. Trees fell as the huge beast passed through them. Claire saw a cave from where she was running to. Thank goodness she found a place where she could be safe. She immediately entered the cave. Luckily, the entrance is too small for the dragon so it was only able to insert his head inside. It can't even open its mouth. After several attempts of entering the cave, the huge red dragon gave up and left.

She felt relieved after running so fast. She gasped and lie on the ground, exhausted.

"Oh my goodness. I can't believe that I almost died a while ago if I wasn't able to escape," she mumbled to herself. She sat on the ground and looked around. Something caught her attention. There was a sparkling metal from afar. She stood up and walked further inside the cave. There was a dead end. She was astonished when she saw what she'd been looking for. On the furthest part of it was a huge rock with a sword deeply buried in it. 

"Finally. A sword. I found one for myself!" she said with joy. She went near the sword. It has a long handle made of platinum black color with a strap-like design. Its center part has the mythical symbol of a dragon with strange ancient symbols on the left and right side of the sword. Even the blade itself which is half buried in the stone is color black but has symbols on it which is glowing like magic.

Claire positioned herself and held the sword. She made all the efforts to pull it out but she can't. It was deeply buried. Nevertheless, she didn't give up and tried again. Suddenly, she felt a powerful aura that seemed to be generated by the sword. It is quite overwhelming that it made her heart throb. She felt that something's telling her to give all her strength to pull it out. She started to scream while exerting her efforts. The sword is gradually being pulled up until she was able to completely take it out. She couldn't believe that she did it!

The sword started to glow more. Then, it produced a flash of light. She was dazzled by the brightness of it and fell on the ground. A personage in black robe appeared in front of her. 

He was 6 ft tall with wavy full black hair and white complexion. His presence made Claire tremble because of his overwhelming power that is being felt around his body. He had a slanted gray eyes and his deadly stare felt like piercing through your soul and killing you if you don't look away. His lips were colored like blood and he had a heart shaped facial feature. His neck had chains and his black veins could be seen on the side of his neck.

"W-who are you..?" asked Claire while trembling with fear.

"Die." he calmly said. He then teleport near Claire and grasped her neck. She was very shocked and stupefied. She can't even move and her eyes were filled with fear. Suddenly, the man was electrocuted and thrown away from Claire. He was stunned when he felt his hand hurt and realized that he could not harm the girl even if he wanted to. Claire touched her neck and gasped because of what just happened.

"Who are you?" asked the guy, his mind filled with bewilderment towards the girl. Claire didn't know what to say or what to do. Her instinct made her grab the black sword on the ground and point it toward the evil guy as a defense for herself.

"Don't go near me! Or else I will stab you!" Claire threatened him. The guy looked at the sword and a memory came back from his head.

"That sword..." he muttered. He then looked at Claire.  Claire slowly walked backwards outside the cave while keeping her guard from the bad guy. She then ran outside the cave but suddenly stopped when she realized that the huge red dragon was still outside waiting for her to come out. It growled.

"Kyaaaah! What in the world?!" Claire screamed and ran away. The dragon chased her again. There were now two beings that wanted to kill her. The dragon and the evil man. She ran as if there was no tomorrow anymore. The bad guy suddenly appeared again in front of her that made her stop running. She was now in between the two deadly beings. She panted and felt so weak. Her trembling eyes started welling with tears. 

"Schwerkraft Ziehen." The guy put his palms in front of her. An overwhelming invisible pressure forces toward the direction of the girl. However, it didn't harm her and skipped her body, then passed through the huge dragon which was then thrown away and fell on the ground. The strong force also destroyed all the trees and plants, even the ground that is passed through it.
