ZOEY'S POV Upon hearing my answer, Alpha Aiden let me go, which made me take steps back. "Make sure it's super delicious or else…" Alpha Aiden smirked at me with a flirtatious gaze that made my cheeks redden. I turned back and pinch myself in order not to let myself fall for his face. "You better be ready to spit out some apology, dear Alpha," I replied with an active smirk before turning back to pick up my apron. After a few minutes, I saw Alpha Aiden still leaning against the wall, which made me turn to him, "What are you doing? Why aren't you leaving?" I asked him while frowning slightly. It couldn't be that he wanted to watch me, so he'd be sure that I'm not poisoning him, right? Even though my thoughts were wild, I knew it was likely so. "No one says I can't stay in my kitchen."
