WHO IS THE SPLASH MAN? : AN ADVENTURE TO WHERE YOU BELONG!

CHAPTER 24

The urge to know a lot is what Andrew has gotten, he wants to have a look around the house.

He moved towards the room where the machines were placed then, he got there seeing the empty spaced room and pictured the splash machine standing at his position and others standing in queue but in reality the room is very much empty and only dust is to be seen.

Andrew wonder why the house had been left alone with no one living there, he had a look at the direction where laug headed that day and he thought that place could be his workshop.

He got to the room seeing how scruffy it looked, it was a small room.

Andrew saw a map on the wall and moved to it, it was a map written with africans language and he could not understand what it says.

He only saw the drawing of paths leading to another and did not know if that is the house building map.

He walked around the workshop checking.

"the steps to becoming a real splash man will be somewhere else apart from his mind"

Andrew mind remind him of ken word."yeah" Andrew said and was searching for any form of papers that can show him the steps to becoming a splash man.

He started searching around laug's locker, but all was seen were working instruments.

He got tired and stands straight, he sat down on a chair without caring about how dirty it looked.

He felt the like his butt had been pulled down as he got seated.

Suddenly the ground opened and the chair he sat on fell into hole.

He couldn't see anything as he landed, he knew he just fell into water.

He wonder what kind of water it is and sniff for a whiff but got no idea of the smell.

"i need a light" he said and his eyes bring forth light.

Andrew founds that amazing because the light he needs is in him.

"full light" he commanded and the light around his body shines brightly revealing the room.

Andrew saw that the place he arrived was a basement.

He moved out of the water quickly as he saw a dry land in front of him, he glanced at the water as he got out wondering if the water is a neat and good one.

He turnedheading to the way in front of him.

His light went off as he arrived to a bright room, he saw something big in front of him that has been hidden in drapes.

He moved to it gently and pulled down the drape, he saw a machine similar to the splash machine.

A word was written on the machine body with ink.

"Splash Machine, made by jose ling Simmons. my father" he reads.

"oh" Andrew said as he realized that the splash machine in front of him is made by laug father.

He moved around the machine and saw another words written on it.

"Who can be a splash man: A man who has seen the past..."

Andrew mind was flashed back to what he had seen in his first adventure and wonder if that is past enough.

"A man with lots of enemies"

He reads that knowing that is who he is, having lot of people who hate him, he looked at the next one.

"A man who is determined"

He reads and a light shines on him from the machine and scanned his body then the machine opens up revealing a step for him to move through.

He hesitated to walk in atat first.

"Bless you" his mind speaked in his ears.

"The creator should protect us from all evil, once we get blessings, we are indeed lucky"

Andrew remember the words said by the old woman from his school street.

"Bless Me" Andrew said and as he took a step to move in, something moved out of him.

He saw ken Simmons in front of him and his looks was like that of a normal person.

Andrew was surprised to see him.

"ken" he exclaimed happily.

"found the splash machine" he said.

"i know, i have been following you since when you get back to the world after visiting me in an adventure" ken Simmons said and Andrew half smiled as he doubts that.

"how can i believe that" Andrew asked.

"and why?" he added.

"i was trying to make you care much about becoming a splash man and I’m glad you found this" ken Simmons said with a smile.

"its the real splash machine" he said and disappeared.

"wait ken, why didn't you help me in those time when i need it?" Andrew said and look around, he saw ken no more.

"ken?" he called for him.He turned to the splash machine direction.

"so, ken was the one possessing my mind to be focus on this? is that to be believed?" Andrew laughed and got annoyed at same time.

He calmed himself trying to be thoughtful about the decision to become a splash man. He did not have much to think because he really wants to be a super hero.

He moved in and the way closed behind him, Andrew almost panicked but he saw something which keeps him away from panicking.

"The top 11 things a splash man must know" he reads out loudly.

"the steps" he exclaimed.

"We move in 3" a female voice speaked

Andrew looked slowly at the direction and saw a computer counting from 1 and as it got to 3.

A bright light shines on him, he covered his face and when he got it opened he met himself in an enclosed place.

An empty field ground, having no one. He did not know how he got there, it amazed him like how it happened on his first adventure.

A word was written boldly in front of him.

"1. BE PREPARED" he reads out curiously."prepared for what?" he asked and the word disappeared.

He heard no sound and wonder if he is to head forward or sideways, he got a sudden blow on his neck from behind and rolled onto the ground.

He was in pain for a minute and looked up to see who had hit him.

"carl?" he said as he was surprised to see carl.

"how did you got here?" he speaked angrily.

He noticed carl to be strange, his eyes are bloodshotted and he looks ready to fight him.

Andrew remember the first step that tells him to be prepared.

"be prepared for a fight?" he asked.

He got another blow from carl as he was still bothered about what was happening.

"oh my! is this a battle ground? this is much worst than being a normal person that gets bullied" Andrew said.

He saw carl moving with his fist toward his direction, he dodged the blow.

He was fearful, he was not prepared at all.

Carl fiercing eyes is scaring him more than anything, he could not fight carl back, he was only dodging carl blow trying not to get hit more.

"how do i fight" Andrewasked.

His inner soul feels weird and his mind changed to a violent one.

He gains strength to get angry to a very high length and he became focused for the fight as well.

Carl keeps roaring, Andrew finds him strange.

Carl brought his fist towards Andrew, Andrew kicked carl knee. carl fell and stands up instantly, Andrew moved back a little to know carl's movement, carl moved back an inch and rushed toward Andrew growling, Andrew returned the growl and waited for carl to come nearer, carl jumped on Andrew and punched him to the ground, Andrew groans in pain, carl gave Andrew continuos blow till Andrew got tired.

Andrew closed his eyes tiredly.

He heard a beeping sound and stand up, gaining some strength.

He found himself on a snow land, he was surprised again but thankful that Andrew had gone.

"how did i got here?" he question his innocent self.

A word appeared in front of him.

"2. BE SMART" Andrew reads and the word disappeared.

"sure, I’m gonna be smart this time carl" Andrew said expecting carl to appear.He saw a man appearing and it turned out to be ken Simmons.

"oh, ken" he said rushing toward him.

"ken, you did not wait to listen..."

Andrew got a hit on his face as he gets to ken.

He rolled onto the ground.

"ken" he shouted angrily and stands up but tried not to hit ken.

"you have to tell me my offence" he shouted and got another hit on his shoulder.

He cried and fell on the floor.

"ken"

He stopped speaking as he saw ken eyes that it looked similar to carl's from earlier.

He knew no one is coming as a friend to him but to attack him and he remember the second word telling him to be smart.

Andrew moved backward in anger, he splits his legs. He was ready to defend himself from getting hits but he had doubts and less hope in victory because he knew ken is an older man and its hard to overcome.

Andrew had a determination to win as he found the things happening to be a test on him, he had to win, he needs to succeed.

He rubbed his foot onto the snow as he wait for ken to approach him first to know his moves.Ken arrived with a lunging blow, Andrew dodged it but got another on his head from ken's other hand.

He attempts to run away but was drawn backward by ken, he gave carl a blow on his nose as he got to him.

He hold ken hands as he was about to give him a blow, ken pulled him away and he landed onto the snow. Andrew got acrophobia as he watched ken standing in front of him, he got another hot blow on his forehead and fainted.

Andrew heard a whistle and woke up, he did not see ken anymore.

He feels like a looser as he stand up.

He found out that he is standing on a glass, that brought claustrophobia on him.

A word appeared in front of him.

"LOSING A LOT? WIN TO GAIN POWERS" he reads and sigh.

"3. FOCUS" he reads knowing that as the next step.

He wonder who is the next to attack him.

He saw damien approaching him, he was not surprised. He knew that the goal is winning and he did not even think of those people as real but a clown so he feels determined to win and get powers.

"come over" he shouted at damien.Damien moved to the left side to reveal katherine bullocks- Andrew's mother.

Katherine had been tied onto a chair and her eyes had been covered with clothe.

Andrew could identify his mom.

"mom" Andrew shouted.

Damien removed two swords from behind him and throw one at Andrew, he catch it on his hand.

"what did you want to do to my mom?" Andrew asked.

He got no reply, he saw damien moving to him with the sword he was swaying.

Andrew grabbed the sword as a novice who has never fight with a sword.

He did not know how to use it, he held it straight in front of him and watched damien approaching. He glanced at his mom too, its been a while he had set his eyes on her and he hate the way he met her again. It was heartbroken for Andrew to see his mom that way.

He just couldn't bear the pain his mom will be going through and he moved forward wanting to go and help his mom to be free.

Damien blocked the way with his sword and tried to slay Andrew, Andrew stopped the sword with his own and kicked damien on his calf.Damien turned to Andrew angrily and hit him with his fist on the head.

Andrew tried to move forward but his ways are being blocked.

He tried to pull  damien off his feet but he was a best sword man than him, he keeps attacking and defending himself and blocking ways for Andrew.

Andrew did not want to kill anyone that is why he is being so simple the way he attacks.

Damien moved toward katherine and sway the sword around her.

Andrew hold his breath thinking of a way to save his mom.

Damien raised the sword up wanting to slay katherine, katherine cried silently, Andrew could not bear it anymore, he throw the sword he is holding at damien and it hit his chest piercing his heart. Andrew gasped at what he had done and he watched Andrew falling, he wanted to move toward damien, a light shines on him from damien and katherine dimention. All he saw was a light and his vision was blinded by light for a seconds.

He got more strength and power within him and closed his eyes, he opened his eyes slowly and met himself inthe midst of houses.

"mom" he shouted searching around for his mom.

A word appeared in front of him.

"YOU WON, WIN MORE TILL YOU GAIN A MAXIMUM STRENGTH TO BECOME A SPLASH MAN" Andrew reads and knew its just a test and that woman might not be his mother but a clown.

He still feels bothered but remember he have to focus and get the splash powers the more he wins. He knew he had gotten a little power after winning over damien.

"4. NO FRIEND, NO ENEMY" he reads.

He wonder who next is coming and stands in a ready way with the sword he is holding.

He heard a light foot tapping from behind him, he turned and saw the man who had jumped to attack him violently.

"ya" Andrew screamed and rolled away from the man, the man rolled away and rushed up again.

Andrew saw the man eyes, it was kanshin baudu.

"you?" Andrew sounds surprised.

"this is fun, nice to see you again" Andrew said.

"good to see you too" kanshin replied smilingly.

Andrew had thought he was a clown but felt confused that he speaked to him and his looks waslike that of a normal person.

"are you going to fight me?" Andrew asked.

"attack" kanshin shouted and had a serious look.

He sway his sword in front of Andrew trying to slay him, Andrew saw it and jumped away, he fell onto the floor and saw kanshin coming to him, Andrew did not want to hurt kanshin so he tried to be easy on him and keep dodging his attacks.

Kanshin got angry about the way Andrew was dodging his attacks, he tried to grab Andrew, Andrew ran sideways, Andrew tried to run toward the houses but there was a limit to where he can go, he couldn't go to the houses direction.

He was still finding an escape plan when kanshin grabbed him on his neck and tried to strangle his neck.

Andrew tried to be free from the grip.

"no friend, no enemy" he remember the word.

He tried to interprete it, he know its a test so he shouldn't try to have a friendly feelings towards kanshin because a friend can turn out to be an enemy.

He also knew thinking of him as his enemy can make him hurt him a lot so he thought ofdealing with him lightly.

Andrew got his eyes closed as he couldn't breathe well due to kanshin grip on his neck, he grabbed kanshin hand and use the strength in him to pull his hand away from his neck, he also gave kanshin a blow on his eyes, he gave him another on his chest, kanshin hold his chest in pain, Andrew gave him a blow on his chest again, kanshin fell onto the floor and a light shines from kanshin direction towards Andrew.

Andrew gained more strength in him.

He heard some noises behind him and turned he noticed himself to be standing on a mountain, he looked behind and the houses couldn't be seen anymore, all was seen was a mountain top.

Andrew sighed enjoying the tricks happening.

A word appear in front of him.

"YOU WON, WHO MORE"

"READY FOR ATTACKS!" he reads and look prepared for any attack.

He noticed footsteps approaching from his right side, it was damien.

"you again?" Andrew said with a smirk.

He heard another footstep from his left side and saw carl.

"and you?" he said and frowned at carl.Carl was holding a sword and damien was holding a knife, Andrew holds his swords closer to himself.

He waited for the two boys attack, but the two looks like someone waiting for Andrew attack.

Andrew knew its okay to defend than attacking but since they needs him to start first he needs to.

"ya" he shouted and rushed towards carl first.

He noticed damien running toward him from behind.

He found that hard to overcome.

"Bless Me" he said in his mind and turned away from carl heading back to damien.

Carl followed him, swaying his swords, Andrew allow the two boys to be coming nearer and jumped away from amidst them.

The two boys bumped into eachother.

Andrew smiled as he look at them, carl and damien saw Andrew expression and got angry, their eyes became bloodshotted and the both looked at eachother and smiled and glance at Andrew with the determination to slay him once they got to him.

Andrew was the first to move forward to them and shove his sword towards carl and damien.

"ya" he screamed to scare them.Carl attacks first, he rushed and with his sword to Andrew but Andrew meet his sword with his and threw carl sword away with his own.

He punched carl on his head and nose at same time and pushed him away, carl rolled downward and couldn't be seen anymore.

Damien got angry and threw the knife he was holding toward Andrew when he was not watching, Andrew looked at damien direction and saw the knife coming, he catch it with his hands and breathes heavily in fear.

"oh my, almost killed me" he shouted.

He want to fight hand to hand this time as he know how risk it was to fight with dangerous instruments, he threw the knife and the sword away.

He rushed toward damien, damien rushed to Andrew too and pushed Andrew unto the floor, he punch his face and stretch his hand to reach for the knife beside him but his hand did not get there, Andrew saw his moves and used his strength to get up quickly.

Damien caught the knife and look at Andrew, he throw the knife at Andrew and it hit tear away a bit part of his flesh as ithit his cheek.

Andrew cried in pain and got angry at damien, he rushed to his sword direction and picked it before damien blocked him, he jumped onto damien and punch his head then slay him on the head.

Damien head rolled away and his body followed.

Andrew breath out angrily without regreting what he had just done, he touched his bleeding cheek and loose some strength, he feels dizzy and closed his eyes.

Andrew opened his eyes and saw himself in a totally dark place, he couldn't see anything and that was fearful enough.

"light" he said and the place was brighten up with moonlight, he was in a room.

A word appear in front of him.

"FIGHT YOURSELF" Andrew reads.

"fight myself? how?" he exclaimed.

He couldn't understand what that mean.

He noticed something moving beside him, it was his shadow.

Andrew shadow pulled him off the ground with the shadow attached to him.

Andrew tried to stand up but his shadow keeps on pushing him down, he wasn't able to stand up but he knew he have to overcome and that is what theword mean by fight yourself.

He knew sometimes there might be obstacles from himself and he have to get rid of it before it hurt him a lot.

Andrew shadow squeezed his foot together, he groaned in pain.

His shadow ran around the room and Andrew was being dragged around with the shadow attached to his foot.

He remember he is holding a sword.

"yeah" he said silently and Somersaults and slay the shadow on the wall.

He heard it groan and disappeared.

"much simple than i thought" Andrew said and stand up.

"dress wretched" Andrew said and dust away the dirt on his dress.

"next" Andrew said feeling strong.

The room got dark suddenly and nothing was seen, then it was brightened again.

A word was shown in front of Andrew.

"7. DO NOT RELENT" he reads.

"yeah, yeah" Andrew smiled.

"who's next?" he said ending his expression with a frown and fold his hands together.

Andrew saw his shadow appearing in front of him, he noticed something standing behind him and noticed another.

"oh my, two shadows?" he said and was dragged tothe floor by the shadow behind him.

His hands were twisted together by the shadow in front of him.

The two shadows hanged Andrew on air and rolled him like a fan.

Andrew screamed and tried to be strong, his sword wasn't in his hands anymore.

He was dizzy and tired losing hope to survive but he remember that he must not relent.

He thought of a way to get rid of the two shadows.

A thought came into his head making him realize that a bright light overcomes shadows.

"i need light" he managed to speak in his state of being rolled continuously.

"li...gh...t" he screamed but nothing worked.

"light" he shouted and a light shines around him.

He had been sweating profusely, he had been tired and feeling dizzy, he closed his eyes and managed to speak again.

"full light, bright..." he shouted with the least strength he has and the light shines brightly onto the room.

He fell hitting his head on the floor and cried.

He had been shivering from inside and cried in pain.

He lay helplessly on the floor and closed his eyes.He heard a sound like that of a train and open his eyes quickly.

He saw himself at a train station and found it familiar to what he has seen before.

He remember it was what he saw in his first adventure, the train station where asher got killed.

A word appear in from of him.

"WIN MORE TO BOOST YOUR INNER POWERS" he reads and the words disappeared.

He saw four men in the sky, they are dressed in metals.

Andrew watched them flying towards him and fears filled him as he wonder how to face four men.

He founds them familiar as they move nearer.

They landed staring at him, it was his four brothers.

"Denise" Andrew called onto his fourth brother.

"Denise, is this you?" he said and moved toward him.

"you didn't die that day, do you? mom will be..."

Andrew got a hit on his face before he could complete his words.

His four brothers starts to hit him altogether and he got a thrashing crying bitterly and shouting for help.

"you might be a hero in your next life but not this one" his fourth brothers said to him with ahard voice.

His other brothers moved to him and carried him, he was thrown on the train way, Andrew rushed up to run away, the four brothers fly around him giving him punch and blow, he was helpless as he watched the train getting nearer.

He thought of a way thinking if its going to be possible for him to control his powers like he do to his lights.

"i want powers" he shouted.

He became very angry with his eyes spitting fire.

He roared angrily and watched the train direction as it approaches.

He focus his stare on the train and tighten his bones.

He thought of commanding for the splash man power if possible.

"i need the splash man powers " he commanded and nothing worked on his body.

The train was a foot away from him, he jumped away and feels disappointed in himself because he have not gotten the splash man powers yet but he feels lucky that he is alive.

His brothers fly around him and he was confuse about their motives.

He tried not to be tired of the fight and had the determination to overcome and win."Bless Me" Andrew said and gain some powers in him.

His eyes brought forth light and he stare upward at the direction of his four brothers, the four brothers groan in pain as they got shocked by the light from Andrew's eyes as it connected to their metal dress. The light pierced through their body and they blow away.

"Yeah" Andrew said and sighed.

"I’m really tired of this but its fun, next please!" he laughed.

The place became dark suddenly and brightened after a seconds, Andrew found himself on a field.

"battle ground?" he chuckled but he was curious about who is going to fight him next.

Some Words appear in front of him.

"8. OVERCOME IS THE KEY. AN OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A SPLASH MAN" Andrew reads.

"that's it? yeah, I’m ready. i should not loose this one and must win no matter what!" Andrew smiled.

"goodluck" he said to himself with a sigh.

He heard the cry of multitude from the northern part, he heart the cry of few people from the southern part, he heard the scream of a man from the western part in frontof him, heard the voice of a man behind him.

The ones from the north part appears first and it turned out to be the soldier men.

"attack" the chief shouted without hesitation.

Andrew was surprise and scared because of how many they are.

He turned to their direction to attack them too, he starts to kick them one by one and giving some punches because he got no sword to slay them with him.

He found them becoming many the more he fights and he finally was put to his knees. The soldier men gives him punches back, a soldier man brought out a g*n to shoot Andrew.

Andrew hands had been tied up, same as his legs.

He was pulled to the floor, he did not want to loose to the dwarfs. He screamed and watch the soldier men running away, he thought they are running away from his screams but heard screaming approaching from behind, he glanced at the direction and saw the flash men.

"oh my!" he said to expressed his feelings.

He knew he need to find super naturally with them.

"powers" he screams and was filled with strength.The flash men move closer and their body were shining and hardly seen because of the light around them.

"light" Andrew commanded and his body shines too but not as much like the flash men.

Andrew counted the flash man to be ten in numbers, he stare at the direction they stay and thought of looking into their eyes to steal their powers while he attacks.

"Attack" he screamed.

"yeah, attack" the flash man attack Andrew with their powers.

it was hitting Andrew on his body like a stone, he starts jumping around and run towards the flash men.

Two flash man rushed forward to Andrew.

"come over" Andrew shouted and grabbed a flash man, he looked hurriedly into the man eyes and it shines into his own, he looked at the second flash man's eyes and collected his light too. He watched the flash man falling onto the ground.

He gain powers and roar as he feels more hungry for powers.

Three flash man moved forward, Andrew stared at the powers around them and attracts the powers into his eyes, he drained the three flash manpowers and they fell onto the ground as a dead body.

Andrew feels much powerful, and looked at the others.

His eyes shines for light.

The other five flash man thought of moving together with their attack, they are angry about what Andrew had done to their other people.

They attack Andrew with their powers, they hold eachother and their power became strong, they wants to drain Andrew's power as well.

They screamed out and stared at Andrew's eyes, Andrew powers begin to flow out from his eyes and the flash man were draining him.

Andrew starts to become weak, he tried to look away but couldn't, it was like his eyes are going to be removed and he groan in pain as he couldn't feel his body anymore.

"powers" he screamed and opened his eyes widely.

He turn around forcefully and got himself free.

"i need powers" he screamed and stare at the flash man powers, they tried to detach from eachother but their body melts together.

Andrew got it drained up along with their body and soul, it all became his powers and he feelsgreat.

He had fortitude to expect more attackers.

He saw someone approaching from the western and saw the iron head man running toward him, he got deleted in one spot and became more powers for Andrew.

He looked at the eastern part and saw ken Simmons.

He watched him moving nearer, ken run into Andrew.

Andrew jumped trying to remove ken from himself, he jumped around but couldn't get him out.

"Light" he commanded light to appear on his body.

Ken melted with the powers and run out forcefully out of Andrew and disappeared.

Andrew could feel difference within him knowing he is not like he was before but a super hero now.

"splash man" he cheered.

"Next" the said and the cloud dropped blood on his skin.

"the third time" he said as he remember the first and the second time when he got the drop of blood on his skin.

Some words appear in front of him.

"SUPER NATURAL ATTACKS. BE READY, IT'S TIME TO SAVE MONVOGA!" he reads and looked around.

A sudden breeze appeared out of nowhere and blew him off the ground toward thesky.

Andrew wasn't prepared at all so he screamed so loud, it wasn't fun at all.

The cloud opened up and was ready to swallow him.

Andrew tried to get free from the sky and stared with light in his eyes at the sky.

He couldn't watch it for long when he look away as the sky light was much powerful than his, he surrendered losing hopes.

The cloud swallow him up and he traveled far away out of earth with the breeze.

Andrew was much confident to face anything, he did not panic but found it fun as he landed on the earth galaxy.

He remember its a super natural attack that will help him in saving monvoga.

"so the war came from heaven?" Andrew questioned his innocent self.

He heard some strange sound around him like that of a person walking around him but he saw no one.

"Show Yourself" Andrew yelled.

He felt like he's been circled this time as he feels breeze surrounding him, he tried to grab the person behind the trick and closed his eyes tracing the sound direction,he grabbed quickly onto the direction he targeted.He feels like he hold someone but saw no one.

Andrew feels intense anger about the tricks the person is performing, he knew he is not safe.

He stare at the thing he hold with his eyes filled with powerful light.

"show yourself now" he commanded and the thing he hold appear in front of him.

He saw a man who he had hold his neck tightly, the man was having the look of a beast in front of him.

The man laughed revealing his no-teeth mouth to Andrew.

He changed into a woman, and smiled brightly.

Andrew felt confused wondering if he is holding a man or a woman. He felt uncomfortable holding a woman but he is not sure of the gender yet so he did not let go of the woman.

The woman changed into Andrew.

Andrew was terrified to saw himself holding his lookalike on the neck and he feels like he is strangling his own neck.

He let go of the lookalike being and it changed to a middle aged tall man.

The man looked at Andrew and had a sinister laugh.

"you are the new hero" the man said and laughed as he saw Andrew's height.Andrew was silent expecting the man to attack him.

"new hero" the man laughed.

The man body reflects and surrounded Andrew and him and they were all laughing.

Andrew couldn't bear the mockings anymore.

"who are you to talk to me anyhow?" he said.

"oh, who I’m i?" he laughed.

"I’m not God" the man laughed.

"I’m not angel" the man laughed again.

"I’m just me.. the founder of monvoga" the man said with a short laugh.

"I’m funny, you see" the man said.

"are you not going to attack me?" Andrew asked.

"attack you? why would i?" the man said and laughed.

"what is your name?" the man asked with a serious look.

"Andrew b..."

Andrew feels half of his power leaving as he mentioned his name.

"tell me" the man said.

"Andrew bullocks" he said and lost his strength as he mentioned his full name.

"what did you do to me?" Andrew speaked with his last strength.
