Chapter 3: Carding, Prepping the FibersMark had been lying on his sofa for a half an hour when the wall-mounted grandfather chimed 5:30. Pride continued in full swing, but Mark had suddenly, as if his hopes had abandoned him, no longer felt interested. From where he lay, he could see, past his feet, the half wall and into the kitchen.
