Chapter 13: LoomingAs Mark enjoyed his disco nap, he dreamed of nothing. Parcae returned looking refreshed. “Sister,” Moirae asked, “why are you back so soon? What about Bacchus?” “It was nice seeing him and enjoying him. His advances were unusually affectionate. It gave me an idea,” Parcae said. She reached into her pouch and retrieved a hand-woven elephant grass fan from Africa. The fan was fixed open, sturdy. “I’ve never seen that fan. Can I have a look?” Moirae asked, extending her hand. “I love the colors. Love the how orange sets off the blue and green. Is that a landscape? No matter.” She handed it back to Parcae. “It’s a gift from Oduadua for our last collaboration,” Parcae said. “I like it because it is sturdy, helps me create the memory firmly. Very useful in the dream world
