There was a lot of tension in that particular environment at this very moment and it was very clearly seen as well. Kade wasn't really sure as to what was happening right now. He was a little confused but very well knew that Doreen was really going to hurt Lydia and that one fact that he knew could be protect and that immediately made him want to protect Lydia. He knew Doreen very well and also knew how far she could go when she was angry that being one of the traits that Kade despises about Doreen and was what made him feel like she was a little unstable in many ways.
