Within no time Mara was already on the go. She was already collecting her passport and Kade stuff, her clothes, and a few of his other toys. She was taking everything she could that could help calm Kade down if he started to freak out as they would be leaving anytime now. She knew both of them needed to run.
Kade, on the other hand, was at this moment awake and alert. That was all because of the loud disturbances she was making upstairs.
He flickered his eyes as he opened them deliberately and unfortunately, it got difficult for the tiny man to entirely open them up because of the harsh glare from the TV. It was piercing and was giving him a hard time opening his eyes. Gradually Kade lifted his body and sat up straight. His eyes wandering around to find his mother.
