The gathering continued for a while, Vincent discussing the promotion for his new hotel that was opening up this year, and Lydia with the help of Lorenzo was coming up with a few things.
Honestly, this meeting was one of the most awkward meetings any of them had ever before. It was the same for Lydia too but she knew this would be over soon and so she didn't think too much about it.
And Kade didn't like the way he was trying to sugarcoat everything for Lydia, only to make her even more so uneasy and scatter the awkwardness around her. It was written all over her face but Lydia was barely trying to be polite to him.
