Pete’s POV
Shelia was very reluctant to start with. She would not receive anything from me. I tried to ask her to accept the clothes. Which turned back on me.
"You said you would not ask anything of me!" I sighed, it was not exactly what I had said, but I reformulated myself anyway.
"Fair enough, I might want to ask you for things, but you're always free to say no!" She nodded and looked at the dresses that were shown in front of her. With a determined look, she pointed to two dresses and tried on both of them. She seemed to be happy with both dresses, but having a hard time choosing one. I got up and stood behind her by the mirror.
"What do you say if we buy both and you'll just keep this one on?" She looked at me uncertainly.
