I remember the visit to the jewelers as wonderful! They had the most exquisite and amazing jewelry, I felt like a hungry man in a bakery! I had actually planned to play bothered and try to avoid choosing one. One tactic I was hoping would get him to pick a lavish diamond.
But when I saw the simple ring with the little moonstone between the other more flashing rings, I could not forget it. It wasn't big with a fancy frame or anything, but it was exquisite! It stood out from the others with its simplicity and beauty. I had not been able to forget it, not even when we were at the royal court supplier looking at rubies, emeralds and even diamonds. I had finally shaken my head and asked for the simple little ring from a jeweler three visits earlier.
