After returning from her uncle and aunt's house, Alisha directly took a taxi to her hotel.
A while later, when she reached the hotel, Alisha stepped out of the taxi. She paid the driver and headed inside. She had just reached the lobby when her phone rang. Alisha looked at the screen, and a faint smile appeared on her face.
She answered the call but was greeted by the sound of a child crying.
Hearing this, Alisha immediately said, "Hello, dear, what happened? Why are you crying? Are you all right?"
In response, someone said, "Alisha, where are you? Panchhi won't stop crying. We've tried everything to calm her down, but she's not stopping and keeps calling for you."
Hearing this, Alisha quickly said, "You take care of her. I’m in the hotel lobby; I’m coming right away." Alisha ended the call and headed toward the elevator.
Moments later, she was at her room's door, and she could hear loud cries coming from inside.
Alisha immediately went in and saw a little three-year-old girl wriggling and crying on the bed. The child had covered her face with her hands.
Seeing her cry melted Alisha’s heart.
She quickly moved toward the bed and said, "Panchhi! My baby, why are you crying? Look, Mommy is here."
Hearing Alisha's voice, Panchhi slowly uncovered her face with teary eyes and looked at her.
When Alisha saw her silver eyes, a strange feeling overcame her. Every time she looked into Panchhi’s silver eyes, faint memories would resurface in her mind.
Alisha composed herself and quickly picked up Panchhi in her arms. The cute little Panchhi hugged Alisha tightly and, while sobbing, said, "Mommy, where did you go? I was missing you! Please don’t leave me alone again; Panchhi doesn’t like it without you."
Hearing her daughter say this, Alisha affectionately consoled her and said, "Forgive Mommy. I won’t do this again, but I had some important work, which is why I left you here with Neil Uncle. But you troubled Neil Uncle a lot, didn’t you? By the way, where is Neil Uncle?"
Alisha looked around the room but didn’t see Neil, her friend.
Before Panchhi could answer, a tall, well-built man entered the room with a smile and said, "There’s no trouble at all. My little panda never bothers me, right, Panda?"
The man, Neil Kukreja, looked lovingly at Panchhi.
Hearing this, a smile appeared on Alisha's face. She looked at Neil and said, "Neil, thank you so much. I don’t know how I’d manage everything without you. Truly, you’re a godsend for me."
Hearing this, Neil smiled and said, "Wow, it looks like today is my lucky day. Miss Alisha Edward is praising me."
Alisha smiled, and Panchhi asked Neil, "Uncle, did you bring my chocolate shake?"
Neil immediately replied, "Oh yes, that’s what I went to get. Here’s your chocolate shake." He handed the chocolate shake to Panchhi.
Panchhi giggled happily upon receiving the shake, and seeing her, Alisha smiled as well. Panchhi began drinking the chocolate shake.
Alisha got up and walked toward Neil. Looking at her, Neil asked, "Alisha, how did it go there? Did you manage to get the land back?"
With anger, Alisha replied, "They’re still as greedy as they were years ago. They refused to give me the land."
Hearing this, Neil said, "Alisha, there’s no need to worry. I’ll use my sources to do something."
Alisha firmly replied, "No, you won’t help me with this. This is my fight, and I’ll handle it alone. I already owe you so much."
Hearing this, Neil said with irritation, "Why do you keep saying that? You know you’re a friend for whom I can do anything to ensure your happiness and Panchhi’s happiness. And that land belonged to your mother. I want to help you get it back because, as far as you’ve told me, they’re very cunning. They won’t give you the land easily."
Alisha thought for a moment and suddenly had an idea. She quickly said, "Neil, we can do one thing. I overheard Nitara saying that she’s marrying into the biggest Rajput family here. I know some dirty secrets about Nitara’s past that she must have hidden from the Rajput family. So, if I don’t let this marriage happen, I’ll get my revenge and reclaim my land."
Hearing this, Neil said in surprise, "Alisha, are you sure about this? Because you know how clever they are. They won’t let such a big alliance break so easily."
Alisha replied confidently, "If they’re lions, I’m a step ahead. I know exactly how to expose Nitara’s secrets to the Rajput family. This is my only way to take revenge and get my mother’s land back. They’re celebrating their alliance with the Rajputs. If I don’t bring them down, my name isn’t Alisha Edward."
Seeing Alisha's confidence, Neil took a deep breath and said, "Alright! I’ll support you completely. If you need me for anything, you can always count on me."
Alisha smiled and said, "I know you’ll support me every step of the way because you were there for me when no one else was, and I can never forget that."
Neil smiled and jokingly said, "If you really want to repay me, give me the chance to be Panchhi’s dad."
Hearing this, Alisha was momentarily shocked but then laughed and said, "Neil, you and your jokes! Now let’s figure out which Rajput family this is that Nitara is marrying into."
Neil, who secretly had feelings for Alisha, always joked about it, and Alisha always took it as a joke.
Neil didn’t express anything further and said, "If it’s the richest Rajput family in Mumbai, finding out will be easy. You know this is a piece of cake for me."
Alisha laughed and said, "Yes, yes, I know. Neil Khurana himself is such a big industrialist in Mumbai. You’ll find out everything easily."
With that, Neil opened his laptop and sat on the sofa.
