Edward begins her Ladyship’s training
In answer to her summons, Edward found Lady Alex in the drawing room. She was looking very becoming in her pouter pigeon blouse and her long skirt and she was just removing a broad brimmed hat decorated with feathers. ‘I’ve just been for a walk round Manor Farm,’ she explained.
