Chapter 4: Consumed by Desire The night had passed in a blur of heat, a tangle of limbs and unspoken promises, and now Emilia found herself caught in a web she couldn’t escape. Every time she thought she could breathe, every time she thought she could reclaim a shred of control, Damian was there, watching, waiting, demanding. She stood by the window, her back to him, eyes focused on the city below. The chaos of the outside world seemed so distant from the storm that had been brewing in her soul ever since that first night. Her body still felt the aftershocks of his touch, her skin still tingling where he’d claimed her. “Emilia,” his voice was low, dangerous, like a command waiting to be obeyed. She turned, meeting his gaze with a defiance that felt more fragile by the second. He stood there, tall, powerful, his suit tailored to perfection, his eyes burning with a mix of hunger and something deeper. Something possessive. “I told you this wasn’t over,” Damian said, his lips curling into a smirk that promised nothing but torment. “You’re mine now, and there’s no going back.” Emilia’s heart raced as she swallowed, her throat dry. She hated him. Hated the way his presence made her pulse quicken, the way his dark gaze made her knees weaken. But she was trapped. She had already given herself to him. “And if I want to leave?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, a challenge that felt weak even to her. Damian’s smirk deepened as he took a step forward, the air between them thick with unspoken tension. “Leave?” He shook his head, his eyes darkening. “You don’t get to leave me, Emilia. You’ve already crossed the line. You belong to me now. And I always get what I want.” Before she could respond, he was in front of her, his hands reaching for her, pulling her flush against him. She gasped, the hardness of his chest pressing into her soft body, the heat between them almost unbearable. His lips found her neck, his tongue tracing the curve of her pulse, sending shivers down her spine. “Tell me you want me,” he whispered, his breath hot against her ear. “Say the words, and I’ll make you beg for me.” Emilia gritted her teeth, but the heat that pooled between her legs betrayed her, her body trembling despite her mind’s attempts to resist. “I hate you,” she managed to say, though the words were hollow, empty. Damian chuckled, a dark, knowing sound. “You don’t hate me. You’re just afraid of what you’re feeling. Afraid of how much you need me.” He kissed her then—slow, deliberate, his mouth claiming hers with a fierceness that left her breathless. She fought it at first, her hands pushing against his chest, but his grip tightened, his fingers digging into her skin as he deepened the kiss, coaxing her mouth open. His tongue slid inside, hot and demanding, and she melted into him, the fight draining from her with each stroke of his tongue. When he finally pulled away, she was gasping for air, her body flushed, her mind spinning. He stared at her, his gaze heavy with possessive intent. “You’re mine, Emilia,” he said, his voice dark and firm. “And I’ll make you understand just how much you belong to me.” He didn’t give her a chance to respond before he picked her up effortlessly, lifting her with a strength that left her breathless. He carried her to the bed, tossing the sheets aside with one hand as he made her lay back. The look in his eyes was pure hunger, and she couldn’t deny the way her body responded to him, the way it ached for him. “Damian,” she whispered, but her voice was shaky, almost pleading. She hated herself for it. “Shh,” he hushed her gently, though his actions were anything but gentle. He was a man who took what he wanted—and right now, he wanted her. He wanted every inch of her. His mouth found her skin again, this time trailing down her chest, his lips scorching as they traced the curves of her body. He took his time, savoring every moment as he mapped her out with his mouth. When he reached her breasts, he didn’t hesitate—his lips wrapped around her n****e, sucking with a hunger that made her gasp. Her hands threaded into his hair, pulling him closer as he continued his assault on her body. She wanted to say no. Wanted to fight. But the way he worshipped her, the way his hands and mouth moved over her with such certainty, it was impossible. “Tell me you want this,” Damian growled, lifting his head to look at her, his eyes dark with desire. “I want you,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “Good,” he said, his lips curving into a satisfied smile. “Because now, you’re going to feel what it’s like to be completely mine.” And just like that, he entered her again, his pace rough and fast, driving into her with a force that made her cry out. She felt every inch of him, every thrust, and her body responded in kind, meeting him, burning for him. “You’ll never escape me,” he breathed, his lips hovering near her ear. “You’re mine now, and I’ll make sure you never forget it.” The last of her resistance shattered with his next thrust, and all that was left was the overwhelming need, the endless pull of his desire. She was his. She had always been his. And now, she would be his forever.
