Lesly had never thought that Arnav would act like that when they first met.
Arnav seemed to hate her.
Lesly froze as Arnav ignored her and went straight to the dining room.
The servants followed Arnav. Lesly was the only one left still standing by the stairs.
She looked at Arnav's back as he left, her eyes filled with disappointment.
"I've told you before." Gavin walked over. "Arnav won't like you."
Lesly bit her lips and did not say a word. Her eyes were slightly red.
Gavin lowered his eyes and looked at her for a while. He pursed his lips and turned to leave.
"I really didn't want to abandon him." Lesly said in a hoarse voice, "All these years, I missed him so much. In order to see him, I even signed an unfair contract with you. I..."
Lesly closed her eyes and held back her tear
