"Are you and Suzy not the real culprits? Could there be someone else?" Dorothy's face remained calm, her lips curling with disdain. She thought Richard was truly pulling out all the stops to clear his name. Richard burst into laughter, collapsing onto the table and pounding it with his fists as if he had heard the funniest joke. The prison guard immediately came in to warn him. Dorothy stayed composed with her hands folded, leaning back in her chair. She quietly watched Richard's performance. She didn't have to wait long. Richard stopped laughing and wiped away his tears. His expression suddenly turned serious. "I'm not. I didn't kill your father." Dorothy didn't respond, her doe-like eyes gazing at him indifferently. Clearly, she didn't believe him at all. Richard wasn't in a hurry.
