The doorbell rang, snapping Vincent out of his thoughts. He walked over and opened the door, revealing his grandmother, Maggie, standing there with two bodyguards behind her, both of them laden with shopping bags of all sizes. "My dear, why are you here alone? Where's Dorothy?" Maggie asked, peering past him. Before he could respond, Maggie caught a whiff of the delicious aroma wafting from the kitchen and pushed him aside. He turned just in time to see the hem of her light gray dress sweep through the doorway in a swift arc. Vincent shrugged, opening his hands in a helpless gesture as he signaled for the bodyguards to place the bags in the living room.
