Chapter 3

20th January, 2018.

"Babe, are you alright? you're spacing out again?" Jacob asked, looking at Nina who was standing there staring at him with her eyes widened. "Why aren't you putting on your glass?"

Nina realized that she was holding her glasses in her hands. She wore it and her body became stiff. Nothing was coming to her head as she stared at Jacob like she was seeing a ghost.

" Babe, are you alright? " Jacob asked as he went closer to her and placed his hands on her tiny waist and a rush of fear gripped Nina instantly.

"Aarh" Nina's high-pitched voice attracted every employee in the office, making everyone rush to the office kitchen to find out what was going on.

Nina removed Jacob's hands from her waist as if it burnt her. "You coward, asshole, jerk" Nina spat out angrily as her hands came in contact with Jacob's left cheek.

"Babe, what was that for?" Jacob asked but he didn't get a reply from Nina but another slap.

The office workers who were watching all gasped in shock and surprise as they watched the popular office couple engage in a fight. This has never happened before between the pack beta and his omega of a girlfriend.

"Babe calm down. Stop this right now!" Jacob ordered but Nina's anger wasn't letting her hear anything or see his reasons as she grabbed his hair and held onto it tightly in anger.

Jacob was becoming pissed with Nina's attitude. He just couldn't comprehend the fact that his girlfriend who was an omega had the guts to disgrace him as a beta and a senior manager in the company.

"Ms. Nina" Alpha Marvin who was the CEO of Hunt Jewelry ordered as he grabbed Nina's hand and removed it from Jacob's hair. "Get yourself together. We are at work."

Nina paused to look at the man who she was glad rejected her and that was when it all snapped in. Before she died, Nina stopped working because Jacob said he didn't want his future wife to be stressed too much but it was just a way for him and Camila to have more time with each other.

Nina looked around to see so many eyes on herself and Jacob. Nina remembered Jacob talking about wearing her glasses and that was when she remembered that the office had a mirror.

Nina rushed to the office mirror and the reflection she saw was unbelievable. She looked younger and she wondered what year it was.

Nina got out of the company and rushed out the company's main gate where her eyes met the busy cars which went their various ways and sounds of buses horning and motorcycles engine sounds filled her ears.

Nina looked around in confusion. She still couldn't comprehend what was happening. She died some minutes ago and now, she is alive and younger than her usual self.

Nina's eyes looked up to see a billboard that showed an upcoming competition. Nina remembered clearly that this competition was held when she was still working and at that time, she was just 25 years old.

Nina instantly looked at the date of the competition and her eyes widened once more. "2018?" She stuttered, muttering under her breath.

"Are you okay?" Nina was jolted back to reality when she heard a voice beside her. "You're barefooted," Alpha Marvin said and Nina looked at her feet which had nothing covering them.

Alpha Marvin sighed as he left her there and went in search of her shoes. He came back after some minutes and placed the shoes close to her feet. "Here are your shoes, Your feet must be hurting." Alpha Marvin urged Nina who placed her feet back into her shoes.

"What happened? Where are we?" Nina asked. She was confused about everything and was trying to understand what was going on.

"From the company, you ran 150 meters. We are at the main road." Alpha Marvin looked at Nina and he could sense that she was confused about something. "What's going on Ms. Nina"

Nina just negatively nodded her head and sighed. She felt her head was hurting her.

"Am I dreaming? Which is real? Dying in the hands of Jacob in 2023 or being twenty-five years old again in 2018" Nina muttered under her breath as she stared at the calendar that hung on the wall of her room in shock. "How is this even possible? How am I still alive? I know that I worked in Hunt Jewelry before and Alpha Marvin was the CEO then. Does this mean I traveled back in time? "

Nina was going crazy with the numerous questions that filled her head but there was no one to have answers to them for her.

Nina stood up after hearing a knock and opened the door to meet the eyes of the man who made her wolfless. "I came to check up on you. Come let's take some air" Jacob said as he grabbed Nina's hands gently and together they both went to a nearby restaurant.

Nina sat down as Jacob went to get some things for them to eat. The notification that popped on her screen took her attention from Jacob.

"Nina are you alright? Why aren't you picking up my calls? I'm worried sick about you. Should I come over? " It was Camila, her best friend.

" No, I'm fine. There is no need for you to come over. I'm with Jacob now. I'll talk to you later" Nina replied to Camila's message and switched off her phone.

Jacob came back to the table with just a bottle of red wine. "Don't you think you making it obvious? Women say it is part of the stages but why are you acting immature"

" What? " Nina didn't understand what Jacob was trying to tell her.

"You said you were going to see the doctor because you felt you might be pregnant. Is that it? Are you pregnant?"

And that was when it clicked in Nina's head. It was exactly as she remembered. Back when she was still dating Jacob and working in the office, she had some signs of pregnancy and thought she was pregnant but the doctor just told her that it was stress and her body needed rest.

"Get an abortion. As for the money needed to carry out the abortion, I'll pay half of it" Jacob's words made Nina wear a smirk on her face. It was happening just as it happened before.

"Why should I undergo an abortion?" Nina asked and just as she expected, Jacob gave the same reply.

"I don't want you to have kids before we get married. I want us to have kids after we are married" Jacob replied and Nina just shook her head disappointed at herself for always believing him whenever he made this statement.

"Let's break up. You're a coward and a cheat and I don't want anything to do with you anymore"
