Waking up alone after telling someone you love them isn’t how I expected my morning to go. I turned over to find the other side of the bed empty and Azrael gone.
No matter how upset I was at him for behaving so childishly, my body, mind, and soul craved for him. I lay in bed for a bit longer trying to adjust to the emptiness I’ll no doubt be feeling for the rest of the day.
He probably left to talk with his siblings about what happened last night, would they hate me for the role I played in Remiel’s demise. Is it selfish of me to hope they don’t, they just lost a sibling and I’m simply thinking about how that’ll affect me.
