Everything was now a puzzle to Lyra. Before the incident in the banquet happened, she certainly was confident she knew the lady even if she was sleeping. From the foods she likes, what makes the lady happy, sad, and even angry. How she begged for affection and love she will never receive however, now, Lyra she felt like everything was vague, unclear not sure why did the lady changed.
Comparing to the lady’s previous behavior and to what she was doing right now, Lyra was in deep shock for she seemed like the lady that was standing in front of her was not the lady she knew. If she would base upon her lady’s actions before, Lyra already assumed that this matter would be reported to the Duke however, he doesn’t need to know?
