“You look like you wanna say something to me.” I shook Jacob’s clasped hand that tightly wound around mine. He shook his head, sucking on his lower lip, “Nope.” He popped the ‘p’, smiling at the fellow guest that acknowledged him as we walked past, some offered him a ‘good job’ and I’m guessing that was about his success in the new surgery method he had just implemented.   Even though this was my life from before, I still found it hard to navigate my way through.
