New, Dangerous and still somehow Tempting

Flashback

Isabella, Taliana and Andrea were out shopping and the mens were talking business in the pack office. The kids had the house to themselves. Ella was sitting on the kitchen stool, wondering how the future alpha of the pack cannot even scoop out an ice cream.

"You are not doing it properly! Move -let me try." Aaron shoved him aside, as he held the scoop and moved it like a pro -scooping out the ice cream and dumping it in the bowl Arianna held. Arianna beamed at Aaron and pecked him on his cheeks, which had Aaron's cheeks tinted in pink. Alex rolled his eyes at them and Eirick grumpily took back the ice cream and tried to scoop out again.

Alex was busy pouring strawberry syrup on his ice cream. Arianna and Aaron were eating ice cream while watching T.V. in the living room and Eirick had finally scooped out the ice cream perfectly which he dumped in the bowl Ella held. Eirick beamed at Ella, his almost silver eyes twinkling at her, waiting for her to eat the ice cream. Ella looked at the ice cream and back up at Eirick, Eirick handed her a spoon which she gladly took and started to eat the ice cream. "Do you like it?" Eirick's gray eyes pierced through Ella's blue ones, which now had a violet tint around the orbs. Her eyes were twinkling at him but she had a blank face. Eirick's lips curved upward 'She liked it.'

Ella noded and continued to eat the ice cream. When Ella was done with her chocolate ice cream, Eirick scooped out vanilla ice cream and dumped it in her bowl, she ate it with a blank face and Eirick observed her.

"How does this one taste? Better than the chocolate one?"

Ella looked at him, her eyes losing the violet tint ever so slightly. Eirick saw it, he poured some chocolate syrup on the vanilla ice cream. "How does it taste now? Better?"

Ella took a spoonful of the ice cream and ate it -the violet tint returned in her eyes, her eyes twinkling brightly at him in amazement. Eirick smiled widely at her, his eyes full of amusement, warmth and love. "Better."

Eirick tossed and turned in his luscious king size bed but couldn't fall asleep at all. All types of thoughts running through his mind. When Amelia surprised them with the mission of Crown's High they were way too exhausted from the previous mission and looking at them -Amelia decided to give them the weekend to rest. She didn't share any details about the mission or what exactly they were going after. Eirick groaned and got up 'I can't fall asleep like this.'

He tip-toed out of his room -in the corridor and went to the room right next to his. He leaned on the door -hearing carefully for any signs. When he didn't hear anything, he turned the knob of the door ever so slowly -doing his best to not wake the person in the room. He opened the door and tip-toed in the room.

"I knew you wouldn't fall asleep tonight."

"Oh crap!" Eirick cursed startled by the sudden voice. He looked at the source of the voice and found Ella looking at him through her beautiful crystal blue eyes. He went to her "Well I didn't wanted to wake you up but here you are already wide awake." Eirick chuckled as Ella sifted to the right side of the bed lifting up the duvet and patted on the space she made, gesturing him to get in which he gladly did as Ella covered him with the duvet -snuggling closer to him, feeling his warmth always gives her a sense of security -there were only a few things she felt and it was all thanks to Eirick. Eirick wrapped his arms around her snuggling closer -sparks flying through them.

"Tell me." Eirick whispered in her ear.

"It's new, dangerous and still somehow tempting." Ella whispered back as Eirick chuckled. Crown’s High sure sounded tempting but Eirick had to make sure all of their safety. He has already lost a lot of pack members in the rogue attack which happened nine years ago. They were only six and looking at the bloodbath while fighting to survive and protect was too much for them to handle. It was heartbreaking for him and his friends and although Ella has alexithymia -just how she protected him and other people was enough for Eirick to know everything about her. They were so effected by the incident that their parents decided to sent them to Amelia -far away from their Homeland. He cannot afford to lose anyone else although he wanted to visit their Homeland -Raine Villa but not this way. He loved to take challenges but he was hesitant about this one.

"We have never done something like this before and I think it's the perfect opportunity for us -like Amelia said they train their students-" Eirick cut in "-practically mold their students into weapons."

Ella looked up at him -her crystal blue eyes staring at him with passion. Ella loved going to the missions, she wanted to grow stronger, to protect her loved ones. Eirick could tell by looking at her -his almost silver eyes staring back her crystal blue ones. Eirick sighs, “We need to look into every little detail of it. I don’t want anyone getting hurt. We need to know it before getting ourselves in it.” Eirick stated as Ella nuzzled in the crook of his neck -Eirick's arms tightened around her.

“Alright. We will talk with Amelia later. Now let’s sleep.” Ella murmured softly before dozing off. Eirick caressed her hair softly. Only Ella was capable to calm him, to make him feel butterflies in his stomach, to make him feel the jolt of electricity everytime they touched.

Eirick watched her beautiful face as she was fast asleep, she looked so peaceful, so elegant, just like a goddess. He traced his fingers ever so softly down her cheekbones and tucked a wild red lock behind her ears before giving her a peck on forehead. He watched her for a few more moments as his eyes started to drop and he fell asleep.
