"So should we order take out or should we cook?" Yassin asks once we arrive at his place. The place is just as it was when I was here last. "I can't cook," I tell him, I can't lie to him I've never learned how to cook in my entire life. Maybe if I had a mother who wanted to spend more time with me while growing up I would know how to. First I admit I was always the spoilt brat and I never had the interest in learning house chores but my mom didn't do her part either. If she had tried, maybe I would have turned out better. "You know what, let's actually cook." Well, what part of I can't cook didn't he hear. "I just said I can't cook," I tell him again. "I know like you can help me, let me teach you." As much as I don't want to learn, spending more time with him is a total yes for me.
