The relaunch of a fish and chip
shop wasn’t exciting, she knew, but if Katrina didn’t come it would be
terrible. And if Katrina honoured them with her presence, it would be easier to
persuade Kippy. Why on earth had her dad chosen Valentine’s Day for the
relaunch? He told his family he had to make the day extra special, extra (love)ly, explaining the parentheses when none of them got the
reference first time.
The Easter holidays were in March
this year, and Easter was when the tourist season started in Kirkinwall.
