Muffled voices engraved into my ears as my eyes fluttered open and shut, I had passed out. Jumping up, I looked around and noticed that I was no longer in the courtroom but laid out on some chairs in a room.
“What- what happened? Did we lose?”
I looked around then stopped at my lawyer as I studied his gentle smile.
“We had to take a break, we’ll go in to get the results in about 10 minutes but believe me when I say…. We have won.”
