“ it’s high time you go to the human world in search of your mate” one of the elders started
“ the throne can’t be left empty for so long we dont know when the rogue or witches might attack” the second elder added
“ then crown him already” Peter grinned.
“ it’s not possible to crown an alpha without his Luna” the first elder declined
“ and who said an alpha can’t rule without a Luna?” Ryan who has been quiet all this while spoke
“ it has not happened before and you wouldn’t be the first “ Tony his eldest brother snared.
“ but he’s searching, he’s not calm about her whereabout” Fred tried defending but the glares from Peter and Tony shut him up
“ who f*****g gave you the right to talk?” Peter asked
“ Ryan has been giving you some guts lately and you think you can interfere in any discussion , huh you lowly fool” Tony cussed.
Ryan fisted his knuckles tightly, he cant just fight anywhere especially not in the throne room.
“ what assurance do you have that my mate is in the human world?” He changed the topic
“ that’s the only place left cuz you’ve searched all the werewolves parks “ another elder spoke.
“ I aren’t going there if there’s no proof she’s there“ he declared and stood up.
“ yay where are you going the meeting is not over” Tony cautioned but he gave deaf ears and left, Fred bowed and followed.
“ like seriously?” Tony groaned.
“ I don’t get what’s going on here, the throne has been empty for way too long now, Ryan the alleged alpha isn’t ready to get his Luna, lets just make Tony our alpha, he has his Luna already and besides it’s his birth right” Peter complained
“ you wont understand “ the first elder shook his head and with that, they all demised.

“ Ryan” Susan stormed in.
“ mom am mature now you can’t just barged into my room what if I was naked?” Ryan groaned
“ it would have been better, cuz I’d grab that opportunity to cut your balls off” she scoffed and he gasped.

“ what rumor?” Ryan asked, he knows why she’s here already
“ you refused to go to the human world” she answered
“ if that’s what you heard im sorry to say it’s not a rumor cuz I truly refused to go there“ he answered
“ and why did you refuse, why are you delaying your coronation, what if they crown someone else?” She asked.
“ exactly the same thing I’ve been trying to make him understand but he’s not bulging“ Fred walked in
“ you both know how I hate humans those beings are way too weak for my liking, I can’t stand their presence, I feel like crashing their bones barely on sight , so how do you expect me to accept a human mate, it’s not possible “ he explained
“ we aren’t even sure if she’s there, or are you scared that the goddess will punish you with a human mate?” Fred grinned.
“ you’re saying rubbish, am the goddess beloveth so she wouldn’t punish me not in that cruel way“ he bragged and started heading out,

“ im taking a stroll , Dont come along “ he said to Fred before he could even speak
“ what should we do about this, im scared one of his step brothers will be crowned and if it happens we’re doomed” Susan panicked
“ calm down, I think I have a plan and if it eventually works, Ryan will go to the human world” he said and Susan stared at him keenly with rapt attention.

Becca has been his crush since childhood, he admires her strength and beauty, everything about her is just so special that he couldn’t help but fall harder.

“ the goddess has degraded me by mating me to an omega and for that reason im ready to live forever without a mate” she said on that day.

“ I heard there was a meeting in the throne room what happened?” She inquired
“ the elders are at it again , they want me to go to the human world in search for my mate” he replied

“ im not going there in the first place “ he said
“ good cuz I can’t withstand the sight of a human in this pack I might attack ” She said and they laughed
Tony’s apartment
“ you have to calm down “ Ruth tried soothing Tony who has been pacing to and fro after his return from the throne room
“ and who f*****g gave you the right to tell me what to do, how dare you ask me to calm down?” He grabbed her neck pressing her hard against the wall.
She tried screaming but she couldn’t.
“ you should learn how to control your mouth if you love your life “ he warned
“ mom!” Henry their son called entering the room
The little boy’s eyes dilated when he saw his mom in that state
He rushed to the scene holding his dad’s legs
“ please spare my mummy” he cried
“ get your hands off “ he kicked him away.
Seeing his effort in vain the boy ran out .
“ grandma dad is beating mom please save my mommy “ he pleaded
“ your mom might have done something to provoke him, she knows he has anger issues and she still don’t wannna be careful “ Ella bad mouthed
The little boy knows going to his grandma is of no use cuz they are birds of the same feathers and they flock together.
He left his grandma’s chamber and went in search of Ryan and thankfully he saw him walking with Becca
“ Champ” He called loudly and Ryan faced him.
“ My little champ” Ryan beamed carrying him up when he ran to him.
“ uncle Ryan my mom is in trouble “ he panted
“ what’s going on?” He asked
“ it’s daddy, he’s beating her, I tried stopping him but he kicked me away please save my mommy you’re the only one who can help me” Ryan was dumbfounded at the way the little boy pleaded for his mom’s life
“ gosh! Tony shouldn’t be doing this” Becca shook her head
“ let’s go save your mom “ Ryan said walking away
Tony’s apartment
“ I’ve warned you countless time to stop talking back at your husband just be the obedient wife but you never listens“
“ you just wanna ruin my son’s image you want him to be tagged a woman beater hm?” Ella scolded
“ what should we call him then?” Priscilla came in
“ yah ! I wasn’t talking to you “ Ella glared
“ mom stop deceiving yourself, you know very well he is a woman beater so why are you trying to deny it” she pushed further
“ hey!” She raised her hands to slap her but she stopped midair
“ your God so kind you’re my daughter or I’d hit you hard to reset your brain” she fumed and stormed out she met Ryan and Henry by the door.
She glared at him before finally walking away
“ mom!” Henry ran to his mom who’s looking haggard.
“ why do you choose to be quiet and allow that monster molest you , can’t you fight back?” Priscilla scolded
“ your bro…
“ Dont even complete it” she cut her off
“ I know it’s your life but you’ve to wake up before he kills you and trust me no one will grief your demise except your little son” she stated before walking out .
She stopped on seeing Ryan by the door
“ you better get your Luna soon and be crowned our Alpha cuz if Tony eventually gets crowned, he will go around beating all the female wolves in this pack “ she said before walking away.

Ryan saw Tony smoking in an open space
“ you monster” he groaned attacking him immediately
He started punching him not giving him any chance to fight back
“ you son of a b***h “ Tony shifted to his wolf form when he got the chance and he quickly use his teeth on him
“ aargh!!” Ryan groaned grabbing his mouth spreading it, he’s ready to tear it apart
“gosh what’s going on?
“ isn’t that Tony’s wolf form?”
“ gosh alpha Ryan is so powerful.
“ he hasn’t even transformed”
“ he indeed deserve to be our alpha “
Luckily the guards rushed to the scene or no one knows what would have become of Tony.
Tony whimpered as he transformed back to his human form falling weakly on the ground
