Chapter one - the field trip to Kansasdale

307 Words
Bruzzzz!!! The car suddenly halts and wakes me up from my slumber as a result of the seat that hits my nose.  "Uhmm, what's happening, why did we stop?, are we there yet?" I ask a girl close to me while rubbing my nose.  "No, I don't think so" she answers.  "Attention students!!!" the instructor calls out with his microphone.  "It seems like the road has been blocked or something, so we will put up our camps nearby and we'll proceed with our trip by tomorrow morning" he adds.  Ohhhh!!! That's what keeps echoing in the bus.  "So now every body take the things that you'll need for the night, but be warned" he pauses to make sure that everybody's attention on him.  "No making fire or roasting any meat or blood related stuff" he warns. "And no wandering around without supervision. This is a remote are, so we have to be very cautious" he says.  "Understand?" he shouts.  "Yes, Sir" we all answer.  We gently walk out of the bus and wait in line to collect our camping stuff from the instructors. After calling the attendance to make sure that everybody's present, we walk into a nearby jungle guided by our instructors.  "This place's creepy, ewww" a blond girl says as she picks up a branch of a tree from the ground.  The branch looks like it has been chewed by an animal or something. The students bring out their cameras and start taking pictures of it.  "STOP!!!" the senior instructor shouts.  "No taking photos or touching anything here, just follow our lead, there might be wild animals in here and I guess you don't want to be eaten by them or do you?" he asks sarcastically.  The place goes quite as a grave yard. Guess nobody wants to die. We walk a little bit farther into the forest until we find a wide open burned place in the middle of nowhere.
