Anna and Thomas still looked at her with disapproval as she crossed the threshold into the strange chamber she had been trying to spy on. It was a roughly circular room, with high, sandstone colored brick walls and strange stone benches that ringed the room at regular intervals. Most peculiarly, at the very back of the room, a sort of stone podium stood. It seemed ominous. The shadows flickered and played with it, making it seem taller than it actually was.
