Diana didn’t even have time to process the feeling of his lips on her own before her hands had reached up, on instinct, burying themselves in Joshua’s hair. It felt perfectly familiar. His scent was the same as it always had been, rather dark and moody with undertones of the forest. If she hadn’t known him nearly all their lives, she would have assumed it was cologne, but it was just Joshua. His hands explored her waist and she felt her eyes flutter.
