Elio drives us both into a quiet neighborhood. No, in a neighborhood that I hated driving back to. The neighborhood Mom used to feel safe in. Charlie's neighborhood. A chill crawls up my spine like a spider I want to swat away. I resist the urge to tear Elio's jacket, off from my body, the same one he lend me when I shivered from the cold on the way back to his truck from my dad's former house.
