I look through the rearview mirror and see Ayla passed out in the back. Her body was sprawled along the leather seat occupying the entire available space. I pursed my lips and focused my eyes back on the road. "I don't think she should be alone right now," Maddie says, surprising me. She hasn't said a word to me since the fight at the parking lot.
