Chapter Fourteen
The investigators had tired of Eldy's presence. In an effort to get him to leave, they sent him to headquarters to help out. They figured the guys up there could cope with him for ahwile. Headquarters could surely find something to keep him occupied. Eldy had been nothing but a nuisance the entire time the field investigators had been trying to conduct their investigation. He enjoyed sticking his nose into the police business. He thought he could be of some help at the station and appreciated the invitation.
