Chapter Ten
Marissa waited impatiently in the hotel lobby for Mr. Stein. He arrived promptly at eight o'clock.
“Well, where is she?” Robert Stein snapped at Marissa. There were no pleasantries extended during the meeting this time.
“I have to take you there! Come on. We'll take my car,” Marissa proceeded with the facade.
“No! I don't trust you! We'll take my car instead!” Stein was adamant that he was not going to get in a nefarious situation with this lady. However, he was playing right into her hands. She had instructed Trevor to contact Mrs. Stein at ten o'clock and inform her of the kidnapping of her husband.
